Crop protection product companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a grower reads when they search for a pest or disease on their crop.

SEO for a crop protection company means appearing when someone searches for a pest, a disease or a crop stage, and not only for your brand name. GullySales works on the structure of crop and problem pages, the label-accurate wording and the regional language versions.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For crop protection product companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searchers type the problem, not the product”

A grower types the symptom or the pest on a crop, such as curling leaves in chilli or blast in paddy. A site that lists products by chemical name never matches those words, and the page that does match gets the visit.

  • “Dealers and consultants search for the active ingredient”

The shop owner and the consultant search by technical name and formulation to check what is registered for which crop. A page that states these plainly, copied from the label, earns the trust of the people who recommend.

  • “Regional language search is a separate field”

Growers search in Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Hindi or Tamil and in spoken spellings. A translated page that keeps the English structure misses these phrases, so each language needs its own wording checked by a field person.

  • “A page that drifts from the label becomes a liability”

Search pages get copied, edited and left alone for years. If a registration changes or a label is revised, an old page keeps stating the earlier wording, and that is a regulatory problem as well as a search problem.

What we do

What we deliver for crop protection product companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A crop and problem page map

A plan of pages, one for each crop and the pests or diseases that matter on it, matched to products you have registered.

Result: A page list that shows which crop and problem pairs are covered and which are still missing.

  2. Label-accurate product pages

Each product page carries registered crop, pest and dose wording exactly as on the label, with safe-use notes and a link to the label document.

Result: Every product page can be checked line by line against the registered label.

  3. Regional language pages

Crop and problem pages written in the language of the belt, with the spoken names of pests that growers use.

Result: Pages exist in the languages your dealers actually speak across their districts.

  4. Technical details for consultants

A page set for agronomists covering formulation, mode of action as registered and trial summaries stated as recorded.

Result: A consultant can find and cite your product details without phoning the office.

  5. A label change checklist

A short routine that names who updates pages when a label or registration changes.

Result: A named person owns every page that quotes a label.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can SEO bring us dealers as well as growers?
Yes, the same crop pages and technical pages are read by both. We add a stockist enquiry on them so a shop owner can ask to be listed. We do not promise any ranking or number of enquiries.
Do we need pages in local languages?
If your growers search and speak in those languages, yes. Each page is written with a field person's help instead of machine translation, and your regulatory adviser reads the final wording.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
