Crop protection product companies · WhatsApp marketing

Reach dealers and growers where they already ask what to spray.

WhatsApp marketing for a crop protection company means opt-in messages, cards and groups for dealers, distributors and growers, in the local language, tied to crop stages. GullySales plans the lists, the content and the handover to a named person, and checks the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For crop protection product companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Dealers already run groups for farmers”

A shop owner keeps a village group where growers send leaf photographs and ask what to spray. A company that supplies the dealer with accurate cards and answers the dealer's questions is quoted in that group, and one that does not is replaced by a rival's forward.

  • “A forwarded claim travels beyond your control”

A card that says a product works on a pest goes into groups you cannot see. Wording that goes beyond the label creates a regulatory problem the moment it is forwarded, so every card is cleared before it is sent.

  • “Consent decides whether the list is useful”

A list of numbers collected from sign-in sheets with an unclear purpose draws blocks and complaints. A grower who has agreed to receive crop alerts reads them, and the company can record that agreement.

  • “A photo sent for advice needs an answer from a person”

A grower who sends a picture of a leaf wants to be told something. If the message goes to an unmonitored number, the grower asks the next shop. A named agronomist or representative has to own the replies.

What we do

What we deliver for crop protection product companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An opt-in list by crop and district

A register of dealers and growers who agreed to messages, with crop, district and language noted.

Result: Each number on the list has a recorded agreement and a crop tag.

  2. Pest alert cards

Short cards in the local language on spotting a pest or disease, with label reminders and the nearest stockist.

Result: A set of cards, each cleared against the label before sending.

  3. A dealer broadcast list

A separate list for dealers carrying training links, product sheets and field day invitations.

Result: Dealers get trade information apart from the grower messages.

  4. Reply routing

A rule naming who answers photographs and questions, and where a complaint is logged.

Result: Every incoming message has an owner.

  5. Platform rules check

A short note on the platform's current rules for business messages, reviewed before each campaign.

Result: Campaigns are planned against the rules as they stand at the time.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we message every farmer who attended a field day?
Only those who agreed to receive messages from you. We add a clear consent line to the sign-in sheet, so the list that follows is one you can use without complaints.
Should the message include a dose?
Only as stated on the registered label and cleared by your regulatory adviser. We point to the label and the stockist and keep the dose wording exactly as printed.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
