DJs, musicians and live entertainers · Local SEO

Show up on the map and in the city search when a local host looks for music.

Local SEO for a DJ, band or entertainer is the work on the Google Business Profile, the city pages and the reviews that decide whether a local host finds and trusts the artist. GullySales works on the profile, the service areas and the review replies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For DJs, musicians and live entertainers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The host searches near their own venue”

A family planning a sangeet at a farmhouse outside the city looks for an artist who plays there. A profile that lists the service areas and past venues places the artist in that search.

  • “A profile with reviews carries weight”

A page of genuine reviews from hosts and planners is the nearest thing to a recommendation the host can read. A profile with none gives them nothing to go on.

  • “Venue pages and planner pages build reach”

A line on a venue's vendor page or a planner's recommended list links the artist to a place the host already trusts. Asking for these is local work.

  • “A solo artist works from home”

A DJ or musician may not want a public home address. A service-area profile with a hidden address lets the artist be found without exposing the home.

What we do

What we deliver for DJs, musicians and live entertainers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Google Business Profile for the artist

Name, type of artist, service area, hours, phone, website and clips set up correctly.

Result: The artist appears on the map with true details.

  2. Service-area and city pages

Pages for each city, with the venues and events played there, with permission.

Result: A local search finds a page for that city.

  3. A review request routine

A short message asking hosts and planners for a review after the event.

Result: Each event can add to the artist's reviews.

  4. A review reply guide

Replies to praise, a request that was declined and a complaint.

Result: Every review is answered in the artist's voice.

  5. Venue and planner listings

A list of vendor pages and directories where the artist should be listed with matching details.

Result: The artist's name, number and website match everywhere.

  6. Photographs of the setup

Images of the stage, sound and lighting setup at real events.

Result: A host can see what arrives at the venue.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is it safe to put my home on the map?
Not necessarily. A service-area profile hides the address while showing the cities you serve. Google sets the rules for this, so GullySales checks the platform's current requirements with you.
How do I ask a host for a review?
Send a short, polite message after the event with a direct link. Never offer a discount or a gift in return for a review, and never write one yourself.
Do venue pages count?
They help. A vendor line on a venue's site connects you to a place the host already trusts. Ask the venue manager for a listing and keep the details consistent.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
