Fertilizer dealers · Local SEO

Show up first when a farmer searches for a fertiliser shop near them.

Local SEO for a fertiliser shop is the work of appearing in the map results when a farmer searches for an input store close to the field or the road home. GullySales works on the listing, the farmer reviews and the details that make the map entry match the shop.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For fertilizer dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The farmer searches from the field or the bus stop”

A phone search for fertiliser shop near me is made at the moment of need, with a crop waiting. The listing that shows an open shop, a phone number and a photograph of the shelves gets the call.

  • “Wrong hours send a farmer to the next shop”

Mandi days, harvest rush and festival closures change when you open. A listing showing yesterday's hours loses the farmer who drove in and found the shutter down, and who now remembers the other shop.

  • “Reviews from farmers are rare and carry weight”

Few growers write online reviews, so even a handful from real buyers stands out beside a shop with none. The ask is best made at the counter, in the farmer's language, with the link ready.

  • “A listing that hides the full range”

A shop listed only as a fertiliser store loses the seed buyer and the spray buyer. The description and product list should name everything you sell, within what your licence allows.

What we do

What we deliver for fertilizer dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified and complete Google Business Profile

Name, address, phone, hours, photographs of the shop and stock, and the products you sell listed by name.

Result: Your shop name search matches the shop as it stands today.

  2. Hours for mandi days and festival closures

Special hours entered for market days, harvest rush and holidays.

Result: A farmer checking the hours at night sees the right opening time.

  3. A review ask at the counter

A card or message with the review link, shown to a farmer who has just bought and is happy with the advice.

Result: Recent reviews come from farmers who actually shopped.

  4. Replies to every review

A plain reply to each review, including complaints about stock or price.

Result: A new farmer reading the reviews sees you answer.

  5. Message and call links on the listing

The WhatsApp Business number and phone linked from the profile.

Result: A tap on the listing reaches someone at the shop.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our shop is in a village with no street name. Can it still be listed?
Yes. Place the pin at the shop, describe the landmark in the address and add directions in the local language. Check the platform's current rules for address entry.
Does the listing show subsidised fertiliser prices?
No. Prices and subsidy rules are set by government and differ by product and state. The listing shows your shop, hours and products, and farmers ask about price by phone.
Who should answer the reviews?
The owner or a trusted family member, in the language the farmer wrote in. A reply from the person who knows the farmer reads better than a stock sentence.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
