Fertilizer dealers · Social media

Be the shop farmers see on their phones between visits to the counter.

Social media marketing for a fertiliser dealer is the use of WhatsApp status, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram to keep the shop in a farmer's mind between purchases. GullySales works on what the shop posts, in which language, and how a post leads to a call.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For fertilizer dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Farmers watch video, not text”

A grower will play a short clip in their own language and skip a paragraph of English. A shop that shows a demonstration of a spray tank mix or a bag being checked is remembered.

  • “The company post is not your post”

Brand pages post national images with no mention of your town. A farmer scrolling sees the company, not the shop that stocks it. Your post names the product, the shelf and the phone number.

  • “Posting without a purpose wastes the owner's evening”

A daily image of a good morning wish brings no calls. A post that tells growers what has arrived and what the crop needs this week gives them a reason to message.

  • “Comment questions go unanswered”

A farmer asking about a dose under a post and getting no reply forms an opinion of the shop. Someone must watch the comments and respond, or hand the question to the phone.

What we do

What we deliver for fertilizer dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A simple posting plan around the crop calendar

A list of what to post at each crop stage, covering stock arrival, advice and farmer meetings.

Result: You know what to post without deciding each time.

  2. Short video scripts in the local language

Ideas for clips shot on a phone at the shop, such as a stock check or a field visit, with the agronomy adviser's input.

Result: A shelf of clips you can shoot with your own phone.

  3. A WhatsApp status routine

Stock arrivals and offers posted to status, with a message button.

Result: Farmers who have your number see what arrived.

  4. A comment reply routine

Who answers, in what language, and when a question moves to a phone call.

Result: No farmer's question stays unanswered under a post.

  5. A record of which posts brought calls

A tally at the counter of which post a farmer mentions.

Result: You can see which posts earn a call and which do not.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should a village dealer use first?
Start with WhatsApp, since farmers already use it. Add YouTube or Facebook when you have clips worth showing. Pick the one your farmers open.
Can we post farmer photographs?
Ask the farmer first and keep the permission in writing or on a recorded message. Never post a field or a face without consent.
Can we claim our product raises yield?
No. Do not state yield, income or disease-cure claims in posts. Rules on chemicals and advertising differ by state and body, so check with your own adviser.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
