Home service franchise networks · Search engine optimisation

Own the search for the job, and for the franchise, before an aggregator does.

SEO for a home service franchise network is the work of making the brand appear when a resident searches for a service in their area and when a technician searches for a franchise. GullySales works on the service pages, the territory pages and the franchise pages that carry those two searches.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For home service franchise networks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The searcher names the job and the area”

A resident types a service with a locality, such as AC service in a named neighbourhood. A brand with one generic page for all of India has nothing to show that searcher, while a local competitor with a page for the area does.

  • “Aggregator apps rank above the brand”

Search results for common home services are crowded with marketplaces. The brand's own pages win when they carry what a marketplace cannot: a clear price band, a named technician policy and a warranty stated plainly.

  • “Territory pages can contradict each other”

Each franchisee writes their own page text, with different prices and phone numbers. Search engines read the inconsistency, and a customer reading two pages meets two brands.

  • “The franchise search is a different search”

A technician looking for a franchise reads about territory, support and costs. Those pages need their own wording, separate from the service pages, or both pages answer neither question well.

What we do

What we deliver for home service franchise networks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Service pages by job

One page for each service, with a price band, what is covered, the warranty terms and what the visit looks like.

Result: A resident can read the whole offer on one page.

  2. Territory pages by locality

A page for each area served, naming the localities and the technician policy, built from one shared template.

Result: Every territory has a page that names where it works.

  3. Franchise section

Pages on territory availability, support and the application route, written for a technician or a small business owner.

Result: A candidate finds the territory list before the contact form.

  4. Consistency check

A list of the numbers, prices and brand names across all pages and listings, with the one correct version beside each.

Result: A mismatch is found before a customer finds it.

  5. Search tracking by page type

Search clicks and calls recorded separately for service pages, territory pages and franchise pages.

Result: You can tell which page type brings bookings and which brings candidates.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should every franchisee have a separate website?
No. One brand site with a page for each territory keeps pricing and numbers consistent, and gives search engines one strong site to read instead of many weak ones.
Can we rank above the aggregator apps?
We make no promise on ranking. We work on pages that answer the searcher more clearly than a marketplace listing does, and we track where the brand appears.
Do we need a page for every pincode?
No. A page for each area a franchisee actually serves, written with real local detail, is better than hundreds of thin pages that repeat each other.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
