Marriage halls · WhatsApp marketing

Answer the date question on WhatsApp, where the family and the elders will read it.

WhatsApp marketing for a marriage hall is the use of a business number to answer date enquiries, share photographs and keep in touch with families and partners. GullySales works on the setup, the standard replies and the consent behind every message you send.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For marriage halls

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The family forwards what you send”

A message about your hall goes to the father, the uncle and the astrologer's group. What you send has to read well to someone who has never spoken to your desk, with the hall name, town and facts in it.

  • “A personal number cannot carry a hall”

When the manager's own phone holds all the chats, the history leaves with the manager. A business number with a catalogue and saved replies belongs to the hall.

  • “Messages need consent”

Sending offers to every number in the phone looks like spam and can get the number restricted. Families who enquired may be messaged about that enquiry. Check the platform's current rules before broadcasting.

  • “Voice notes and local language matter”

Elders and other enquirers prefer a voice note or a message in the local language. A reply in the language they wrote in feels more welcoming than a typed English template.

What we do

What we deliver for marriage halls.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business setup

Profile, hours, address, catalogue of halls and rooms, and a greeting message in the hall's name.

Result: The number shows the hall's name, address and hours.

  2. Saved replies for the common questions

Date availability, capacity, rooms, kitchen rules, rent and terms, each written in English and the local language.

Result: The desk replies with approved wording.

  3. A photograph and video pack

A set of images and a short clip sized for WhatsApp, with consent from the families shown.

Result: A family receives the pack in one message.

  4. A consent record

A note of who agreed to receive messages and for what, kept with the enquiry.

Result: You can show why each number was messaged.

  5. Messages for partners

A separate list for priests, caterers and planners, with their free-date updates.

Result: Partners get date updates on their own list.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send a message to old customers about off dates?
Only to families who agreed to hear from you. Ask for consent at the booking, state the purpose, and let them opt out. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging.
Do we need the paid business tools?
Start with the free business app and its saved replies. Consider the paid tools if several staff share the number or you want automation, and ask what each tool costs before buying.
Should the hall answer on a Sunday evening?
Yes, if families visit then. Decide who holds the number on those days and tell families the hours on the profile, so a message does not wait unanswered.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
