Mineral export companies · Search engine optimisation

Appear when an overseas buyer searches for your mineral, grade and loading port.

SEO for a mineral exporter means writing and structuring pages so that an importer searching for a mineral, a grade or an Indian supplier finds your yard and its specification. GullySales works on product pages, search terms in the importer's wording and the technical state of the site.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For mineral export companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Importers search by grade, not by company”

A buyer types the mineral, a size or a purity and the word supplier, then reads the first few results. A page called Products does not match that search. A page for one mineral and grade with its specification and port does.

  • “Foreign spelling and trade names differ”

The same stone may carry one name in India and another in China, the Gulf or Europe. Pages should use the names an importer uses, including the common trade name, and say plainly what the material is and where it is shipped from.

  • “A search result is a first impression”

The title and description under your link are read before the page opens. If they name the mineral, grade and packing, a buyer can tell at a glance that you ship what they need. A vague line sends the click to a competitor.

  • “Portals and your own site compete for the same search”

A listing on a trade portal may rank above your site. Keep the wording consistent in both places, and make sure that a buyer who then searches your company name lands on a page with the same grade, packing and port.

What we do

What we deliver for mineral export companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search terms by mineral and market

A list of the words importers in each target country use for your mineral, grade and form, drawn from enquiries and portal searches.

Result: Each product page is written for terms you can see in real enquiries.

  2. One page per mineral and grade

Product pages with specification, size, packing, loading port, minimum lot and a photo of the stack.

Result: An importer lands on the exact grade they searched for.

  3. Titles and descriptions

Search titles and descriptions for every page, in plain English, naming the mineral, grade and the fact that you are an Indian exporter.

Result: The line under each link tells a buyer what the page holds.

  4. Technical site review

A check of page speed from overseas, mobile layout, broken links and indexing, with a list of fixes.

Result: Pages load for a buyer on a phone abroad and are open to search engines.

  5. Company and port pages

Pages for the company profile, inspection options and loading arrangements, linked from each product page.

Result: The buyer who checks the supplier finds the proof in one click.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need SEO if we get enquiries from portals?
A portal controls its own listing and its rules. Your own site is the page an importer opens when checking you, and it can be found by search too. The two work together, so keep the details identical.
Can you promise a ranking?
No. Rankings depend on the search engine and on competitors. We work on the pages, the wording and the site, and read the enquiry record with you to see what is arriving.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
