OTT content studios · Search engine optimisation

Let a commissioner who searches your genre and language find your studio.

SEO for an OTT content studio is the work that makes series pages, the studio profile and channel content appear when platform teams, brands and creators search. GullySales works on page structure, series naming and the search terms each audience uses.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For OTT content studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Commissioners search to verify”

An executive who liked a pitch looks the studio up before the next meeting. What appears for the studio name, the showrunner and the series title decides whether the pitch is trusted. Thin or missing pages leave the reader with a social profile and guesswork.

  • “Series titles are shared with other works”

A series named with a common word competes with films, songs and other shows of the same name. Without the genre, the language and the studio name beside the title, the page is lost among them. Page titles and headings carry that context so the right work is found.

  • “Script and spelling split the audience”

Viewers and regional teams search in a regional script, in Roman letters or in a mix of both. A page written in one form is missed by searchers using the other. The pages need the spellings the audience types, not only the spelling printed in the credits.

  • “Creators and crew search too”

Writers, actors and technicians look for studios that are casting or commissioning. A page explaining how the studio works with new talent brings in applicants without a social post, and keeps casting enquiries apart from the pages built for commissioners.

What we do

What we deliver for OTT content studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search term map

Terms searched by platform teams, brands, creators and viewers for your genres and languages, grouped by the page each belongs to.

Result: A sheet listing every term against its page.

  2. Series page structure

A repeatable layout for each series with title, genre, language, synopsis, cast, crew and status.

Result: A template that every new series page follows.

  3. Title and heading rewrite

Page titles and headings that carry genre, language and studio name beside the series title.

Result: Each series page showing its full context in the browser tab.

  4. Studio and people profile pages

Pages for the studio, the showrunner and key crew, written to match what is said about them elsewhere online.

Result: A search on the studio name that returns pages you control.

  5. Technical check

Crawling, page speed, video and film structured data and index status, checked and written up.

Result: A list of faults found, ordered by what to correct first.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can you get our series to rank first?
No ranking is promised. Results depend on the whole web and shift without notice. We make the pages clear and complete so search engines can read them, and show you what appears for the terms that matter.
Is a YouTube channel part of this?
A channel appears in search too, so its titles and descriptions are worked on beside the site. Platform search rules change, so check the platform's current rules before building habits around any one setting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
