Podcast production studios · Search engine optimisation

Appear when a founder searches for a podcast studio and wants to hear the work.

SEO for a podcast studio is making the studio's pages appear for the searches that come before a booking, such as recording room hire, branded podcast production and video podcast set-ups. GullySales works on page structure, wording and the sample content those searches need.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For podcast production studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search names a service, not a studio”

Searchers type podcast recording studio, podcast editing or branded podcast for a company. One general page competes for none of them well. Each service needs its own page that answers that search in the words the searcher chose.

  • “Audio is silent to a search engine”

An episode on a page is only sound to a crawler. Without a written summary, a transcript and a note on who did what, the page has nothing to match a query. The text around the player is what carries the sample into search.

  • “Language adds separate searches”

A Kannada, Hindi or Tamil host searches in that language and expects a studio that records in it. A regional language page written for those searches reaches buyers an English-only site never meets.

  • “Comparison searches bring the buyer late in the decision”

People search for what a podcast costs, how a studio works and what editing includes. Pages that answer those questions meet the buyer who is already comparing, and let them reach a shortlist knowing what to ask.

What we do

What we deliver for podcast production studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each service

Separate pages for room hire, full production, branded podcasts and video podcasts, each with its own title, description and sample.

Result: Every service has a page a search can land on.

  2. Sample pages backed by text

Each sample episode gets a written summary, a transcript where the host agrees, and a note on what the studio handled.

Result: A sample page has words a search engine can read.

  3. Pages that answer buyer questions

Pages on what a studio does, what editing includes and what a host should prepare before the first recording.

Result: A buyer comparing studios finds your explanation.

  4. Regional language pages

Pages written in the language of the show for studios that record in it.

Result: A host searching in their own language sees a page in it.

  5. A technical check of the site

A review of titles, headings, page speed and indexing, with fixes listed in order of effort.

Result: A list of fixes, each with an owner.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the studio write about podcasting in general?
Write about what a buyer needs to decide: format, equipment, editing, publishing and what the host prepares. General essays on podcasting reach listeners and hobbyists, not the person looking for a studio to hire.
Does embedding episodes help search?
The audio alone gives a search engine little to read. A written summary and transcript around the embedded player give the page words to match. Ask the host before publishing a transcript of their voice.
How do we know whether search is working?
Compare the enquiries that mention finding you on Google, and the pages they landed on, against the starting picture. A ranking position alone does not show whether a host booked a series.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
