Rooftop solar companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a roof owner reads when the bill makes them search.

SEO for a rooftop solar company is the work of appearing when a home, society or factory owner searches for solar on their own roof in their own city. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the technical base that put your name in front of that search.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For rooftop solar companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searchers describe a roof, not an industry”

A homeowner types a question about a terrace, a flat roof or a shed. A page that talks about clean energy in general never matches it. A page about solar on a sloping tile roof in a named city does.

  • “Subsidy words bring the wrong visitor”

Pages built around subsidy attract people hoping for a scheme answer, not buyers. Mention the subsidy where it belongs, in general terms, and send the reader to the roof and the bill, which is where the sale is decided.

  • “Societies search in a different language”

A secretary looks for words like common area load, lift and pump bill, and committee approval. Writing one page for that reader pulls in a buyer that a generic home page never meets.

  • “City names split the work”

Each city and town you serve needs its own page with real projects, real roof types and real DISCOM details checked by your team. Ten pages with the same sentences and a swapped city name do nothing.

What we do

What we deliver for rooftop solar companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A roof-type page set

One page each for flat concrete, sloping sheet, tile and shed roofs, written from your own surveys.

Result: Each roof type has a page that answers its questions.

  2. A page for each buyer type

Homes, societies, schools, shops, factories and farms each get a page with their own worries and sums.

Result: The reader sees their situation named in the first lines.

  3. City pages built on real work

A page per city you install in, with completed roofs described and the local DISCOM process explained in general terms.

Result: Each city page holds facts only you could write.

  4. Plain answers to subsidy and net metering

A short guide that says rules differ by state and DISCOM, who files what in your process, and what the customer should check.

Result: Fewer calls begin with the same confused question.

  5. A technical clean-up

Page speed on a phone, titles, headings, indexing and the sitemap checked and fixed.

Result: Search engines read every page you publish.

  6. A ranking-and-enquiry record

Search terms, landing pages and enquiries put side by side, so you see which pages bring a roof owner and which only bring traffic.

Result: You know which pages earn their place.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will SEO get us to the top of Google?
No one can promise a ranking. The work is to make each page the best answer to one question a roof owner asks, and then to read which pages bring enquiries.
Do we need a blog?
Only for questions your buyers ask that no page answers yet. A post that explains shade, load or net metering paperwork earns its place. A post written to fill space does not.
Can a new company compete with the big installers?
On a national search, hard. On your own city, your own roof types and your own completed work, yes, because the searcher wants a nearby installer who has done a roof like theirs.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
