Solar equipment dealers · Social media

Post the stock that landed and the site it went to, where installers already scroll.

Social media marketing for a solar equipment dealer is showing installers, EPC teams and kit buyers that you hold the stock and know the equipment. GullySales works on what goes up, which platform carries it, and how a post turns into a call from a buyer.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For solar equipment dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Installers scroll for stock news, not slogans”

A photograph of a pallet of new modules with the make and wattage written on it earns a message. A poster about clean energy earns a like from someone who will never buy a panel from you.

  • “YouTube and Instagram carry the explanation, WhatsApp carries the order”

A short video on matching an inverter to a roof shows you know the equipment, and the viewer then moves to a chat. The post has to end with a number or a link to that chat.

  • “Delivered-site photographs are the proof”

A photo of your material at a customer's site, with permission, shows an installer that you deliver where they work. Posting a stock shot with no destination leaves that out.

  • “An unattended page is worse than none”

A last post from two seasons ago tells a buyer that stock lists are stale too. A small, consistent rhythm of real posts beats a burst followed by silence.

What we do

What we deliver for solar equipment dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A post set built from your own stock

A set of post formats: new stock, rate change, delivery to site, product explainer and warranty reminder.

Result: Your team has a format for each kind of news and need not invent one.

  2. Short explainer videos on common questions

Brief videos on inverter sizing, structure choice and cable selection, filmed at your counter.

Result: An installer can watch your answer before calling.

  3. Platform choice by buyer

A decision on where installers in your region spend time, so effort goes there and not everywhere.

Result: You post on the platforms your buyers use and skip the rest.

  4. A call-to-action on every post

A clear route in each post: a WhatsApp link, a counter number or a product page.

Result: Every post gives a buyer a way to reach you.

  5. Permissions for site and customer photographs

A simple consent line for pictures of installed systems and the people who own them.

Result: You hold permission before a site photograph goes up.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should a solar dealer use first?
The one your installers already open. Ask five regular buyers where they look at dealer news. Start there, and add a second platform only once the first runs without strain.
Can we post customer installations?
Only with the customer's permission, and keep addresses off the post. Check the platform's current rules on promotional content and any rules that apply to your advertising.
Will social media bring EPC firms?
It builds familiarity, but EPC firms buy through vendor lists and purchase teams. Social posts support that work by showing capacity, while the registration route stays the formal one.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
