Theatre and performing arts companies · Digital marketing

Join the website, search, social and messaging into one route to the seats.

Digital marketing for a theatre company brings the website, search listings, social pages and messaging together so a new audience finds the work and can act. GullySales works on how each piece connects and what it is for.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For theatre and performing arts companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Each channel has a role”

Search catches people looking for a show now, social media builds interest before opening, and WhatsApp holds the regulars. A plan that names each role avoids a scattered effort.

  • “An advertisement needs somewhere to land”

A paid post for a play that sends people to a home page loses them. It needs a page with the date, the venue, the language and the ticket link.

  • “Timing matters more than volume”

A company that announces early and keeps reminding the audience reaches more people than one that posts frantically in the final week. The calendar should lead the content.

  • “Few numbers tell the story”

Ticket sales by source, workshop enquiries and sponsor conversations show what is working. Page views alone say little about the seats filled.

What we do

What we deliver for theatre and performing arts companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A digital plan for the production calendar

A simple plan from announcement to closing night, covering search, social and messaging.

Result: The team knows what runs when.

  2. Landing pages for productions and services

A page for each play and each service, built to receive visitors from posts and advertisements.

Result: Every campaign has a matching page.

  3. Paid promotion where it suits

Search or social advertising for a production or workshop, with a budget the company sets.

Result: The company can see where its spend goes.

  4. Source tracking for tickets and enquiries

A way of noting which channel brought each sale or enquiry.

Result: The company knows which channel earns attention.

  5. A review after each production

A conversation on what worked and what to change for the next.

Result: Each run informs the next plan.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much should a small company spend?
As much as the company can afford to lose while it learns. GullySales promises no sales. Start with one production, one audience and a small budget, and read the results.
Do we need all the channels?
No. Begin with the website and the channel your audience uses the most. Add others when someone can look after them.
How do we measure success without a large team?
Count tickets by source and enquiries by type. Those two lists show the company where its effort lands.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
