Audit firms · Digital marketing

Put search, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and referrals into one plan your partners can follow.

Digital marketing for an audit firm is the combined use of a clear website, search, LinkedIn and WhatsApp to reach the people who appoint an auditor. GullySales plans the mix around the audit types you want more of, and every step is checked against your council's guidance.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For audit firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Audit buyers do not respond to loud channels”

Paid banners and cold mailers sit badly with a professional firm and with the rules on solicitation. The channels that fit are search, a partner's LinkedIn presence, referrals and direct replies on WhatsApp.

  • “Each channel does one job”

Search brings the person who is looking, LinkedIn keeps partners in view of finance heads, and WhatsApp handles the reply and the follow-up. Used together with a record behind them, they cover the path from first look to appointment.

  • “Search advertising is restricted for some professions”

Whether a firm may run paid search ads, and with what wording, depends on your council's current rules. Check them first. Where ads are not permitted, effort moves to pages, profiles and referrals.

  • “A plan with no record cannot be improved”

Without a note of where each enquiry came from, the firm cannot tell which channel earned an appointment. The record is dull to keep and is what lets a partner choose the next step sensibly.

What we do

What we deliver for audit firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Starting review

A look at the website, profiles, listings and the source of the last appointments, set out plainly for your partners.

Result: Partners see where the firm stands before any work begins.

  2. Channel plan

A written plan naming which channels to use, for which audit types, and which to leave alone.

Result: The plan states what is in and out.

  3. Website and profile fixes

Corrections to the pages, titles and profiles that hold the firm's name, so the basics match across the web.

Result: The firm's details read the same everywhere.

  4. Source record

A register that attaches a source to every enquiry, so results can be set against effort.

Result: You can name the source of each appointment.

  5. Rules review

A read of the plan against your council's current guidance, with changes where something is not permitted.

Result: Each channel is cleared by your partners before use.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should an audit firm start?
With the website and the Google profile, because every other channel points to them. Then a few audit-type pages, partner profiles and the enquiry record. We add LinkedIn and WhatsApp once those are in place.
Can you run paid ads for us?
Only if your council's current rules permit them and your partners approve the wording. Rules differ by body and change. Where they do not, we put the work into pages, profiles and referral routes instead.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
