Business process consultants · Search engine optimisation

Be the page an owner finds when the search is for a fix, not a framework.

SEO for a process consultancy is writing the pages that answer what an owner or finance head types when work stalls, such as SOP writing, order to cash or workflow automation. GullySales works on page structure, wording and the order in which topics are built.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For business process consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searchers use symptoms, not consultant vocabulary”

An owner searches "how to write SOPs for a small business" or "why are payments delayed". Terms such as as-is and to-be mapping belong in the body of the page. In the title, they cost you the click.

  • “Software questions bring a different buyer”

"Process documentation for ERP" is typed by a finance or operations head who must brief a vendor. That reader wants a list of what to prepare, not an essay on methodology, and a page built for the question is found for it.

  • “One page cannot rank for every flow”

A single services page about process improvement competes with every consultant and every software firm. A separate page for each flow, with its own title and its own sample, gives the search engine a clear subject to match.

  • “Pages with no sample look like everyone else's”

Consultancy sites describe the same steps: discover, map, redesign. A cleaned process map or a sample SOP on the page shows the work itself, and the reader has something specific to remember and share.

What we do

What we deliver for business process consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A flow-by-flow page plan

A list of the pages to build, one per stuck flow, with the search wording the owner uses for each.

Result: You hold a written plan of which page answers which search.

  2. Titles and headings in the owner's words

Page titles and first lines rewritten around the delay rather than the method.

Result: The title names the problem the searcher typed.

  3. An SOP guide page

A plain page on what a good SOP holds, who owns it and how it is kept alive.

Result: The page answers a search that brings in owners who have never hired a consultant.

  4. An ERP-preparation page

A page for the buyer briefing a software vendor, listing the processes to write down first.

Result: Finance and operations heads find a page made for their own question.

  5. Internal links between flow pages

Each flow page linked to the SOP guide, the sample map and the contact page.

Result: A reader can move from the problem to the proof to the enquiry in a few clicks.

  6. Search reporting by page

A sheet of which pages get found and which enquiries name them.

Result: You see which topics earn enquiries, not only visits.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does a technical blog help or hurt?
It helps only when it answers a question an owner would ask. A post on a framework read by other consultants brings no buyer. Posts built around a stuck flow bring the reader you want.
How do we avoid competing with ERP vendors?
Write for the stage before purchase. A page about what to document first meets the buyer earlier than a vendor does, and it positions you beside the software rather than against it.
Is it worth building pages for audit and certification?
Yes, where you do that work. Searches about written procedures for an assessor come from firms with a deadline, and a page that lists what an assessor asks to see is easy to act on.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
