Divorce lawyers · Local SEO

Show up in the city search by the person who needs a family court lawyer nearby.

Local SEO for a divorce lawyer is the work of making your office, court and city clear to a search engine so the person looking near the family court finds you. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the city and court pages and the consistency of your address and name.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For divorce lawyers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Proximity to the family court matters to the searcher”

A person will attend several hearings at one court, so the search is for a lawyer in the same city or near the same court complex. A page that names the court and the city meets that search directly.

  • “A business profile that shouts the wrong thing repels the reader”

Photos of a courtroom gavel, a long list of services and blunt wording do the opposite of a calm first impression. A profile with a plain description, a map pin and a way to call at a safe time suits this reader.

  • “Reviews are a sensitive subject in this trade”

Advocates may be barred from soliciting or displaying client testimonials under Bar Council rules, and a person in a divorce rarely wants their name beside it. Do not ask for reviews until you have checked your council's current rules.

  • “Inconsistent addresses confuse the search engine”

An office that appears under two names or two addresses across directories splits its signals. A person who finds one version and calls the other reaches a closed phone. Matching the details everywhere removes the confusion.

What we do

What we deliver for divorce lawyers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Google Business Profile set up for the trade

Name, address, hours, a plain description and the matters you take, written without fault or promise.

Result: The profile describes the practice without any outcome claim.

  2. Pages for each city and court you serve

One page per city or court, naming how to reach the office and what to bring to a first meeting.

Result: Each page answers where, not only what.

  3. A directory tidy-up

A check that your name, address and number are the same in each listing you hold.

Result: The same office details appear in every listing.

  4. A safe-time call route on the profile

A call or message option that lets the person say when it is private to ring back.

Result: A caller can choose a time and need not explain why.

  5. A note on reviews for your council's rules

A written check of what your Bar Council allows before any review request goes out.

Result: You know whether to ask, and the rule you checked.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we collect Google reviews?
Check your Bar Council's current rules first. Some practices may not solicit reviews, and a person in a divorce may not want a public record. GullySales will not set up review requests for a legal practice without that check.
Do we need a page for each court?
Only for courts where you actually appear. A page for each lets a searcher confirm you work there and tells a search engine which places you serve. A page for a court you never visit would mislead the reader.
Can we show our office photos?
Yes, a plain photo of the entrance and the waiting area helps a nervous caller recognise the building. Avoid staged courtroom images, and check what your council allows in advocate advertising.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
