Family lawyers · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for appointments and documents, never for pitching a family in distress.

WhatsApp for a family law practice means using the app that clients already open for appointment confirmations, document requests and brief answers to practical questions. GullySales helps set up a careful, consent-based routine, with a business account where appropriate and a rule against discussing the substance of a matter.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For family lawyers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Clients already use it for everything”

Families in India send documents, photos of papers and questions on WhatsApp as a habit. Ignoring it pushes clients to message a personal number, so a managed business route is safer for everyone.

  • “A shared phone can expose a matter”

A message on a phone used by the whole household may be read by the very person from whom the client wants privacy. Ask before sending anything, and agree a word or format that does not reveal the matter.

  • “Broadcasts do not suit this trade”

Sending promotional messages to a list of former clients can embarrass a household and may break advocate rules or the platform's terms. Use WhatsApp for one-to-one service messages only, and check the platform's current rules.

  • “Documents arrive in a muddle”

Photos of orders, identity papers and property records come in unnamed, out of order and sometimes cropped. A short instruction on how to send them saves the junior hours of chasing.

What we do

What we deliver for family lawyers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business set-up

A business profile with the practice name, description and hours, kept separate from personal numbers.

Result: Clients reach the office and not a lawyer's private phone.

  2. A consent and privacy rule

Wording that asks permission before messaging and explains what will and will not be discussed there.

Result: Every thread starts with agreed boundaries.

  3. Service message templates

Plain messages for appointment confirmations, document requests and office closures.

Result: Routine messages are consistent and carry no case detail.

  4. A document-sending guide

A short note telling clients how to name, order and photograph their papers.

Result: Documents arrive in a form the office can use.

  5. A hand-off rule

A line telling staff when to move a conversation to a call or a meeting.

Result: Sensitive discussion leaves the chat and moves to a private conversation.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send promotional messages on WhatsApp?
We advise against it for a family practice. Advocate rules restrict solicitation and the platform has its own conditions. Use it for service messages that the client has asked for.
Should lawyers use their personal numbers?
A business number kept for the office is better. It separates work from private life and lets a colleague cover when a lawyer is in court.
Is WhatsApp safe for confidential matters?
Treat it as a convenient channel for logistics, not for the substance of a matter. Check confidentiality and data protection duties with your own adviser.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
