GST consultants · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp to take in notice enquiries and keep retainer clients informed.

WhatsApp marketing for a GST consultant covers the business number, the first-reply flow and the client updates sent on a platform every finance team already uses. GullySales sets these up with consent and the platform's current rules in view.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For GST consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A notice photo arrives on WhatsApp first”

A person with a notice often sends a picture rather than writing an email. A business number that asks for the notice, the date and the contact name in a short flow turns that picture into a recorded enquiry.

  • “A personal number mixes work and family”

Client documents on a partner's private phone are hard to share and risky to lose. A separate business number, with access for the team, keeps files with the firm.

  • “Broadcasts without consent harm the name”

Sending bulk messages to people who never agreed is poor practice and risks the number. Ask permission, say what you will send and honour a request to stop. Check the platform's current rules.

  • “Date reminders are useful, sales messages are not”

A reminder of an upcoming return date, sent to a client who agreed, is welcomed. A promotional blast for a service is ignored. Keep updates relevant to the client's own obligations.

What we do

What we deliver for GST consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number setup

A WhatsApp Business profile with the practice name, services, office address and opening hours.

Result: The profile presents the practice clearly to a new contact.

  2. A notice-enquiry flow

Quick replies that ask for the notice type, the reply date and the document, then route to a named person.

Result: Each enquiry reaches an owner with the details.

  3. Consent and opt-out wording

A short message that asks permission and explains what you will send, with a clear way to stop.

Result: You hold wording and a record of who agreed.

  4. Client update templates

Short messages for return dates, document requests and post-check findings.

Result: Templates are ready for the team to use.

  5. Chat-to-record routine

A habit of logging each useful chat in the CRM or sheet with source and outcome.

Result: Chats no longer hold the only copy of an enquiry.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send documents over WhatsApp?
Many clients do, but confidentiality matters. Agree with the client what may be shared, keep the business number access limited, and take advice on your duties from your own council or adviser.
Do we need the paid API?
Not to begin. The business app covers a small practice. Move to the API only when volume needs it, and check the platform's current rules and charges.
Can we message past clients about new services?
Only those who agreed to hear from you, and with a way to opt out. Keep the content relevant to their own compliance, and avoid pressure.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
