Marketing consultants · Lead generation

Attract founders who want judgement, not another agency to manage.

Lead generation for a marketing consultant means bringing in founders who have a spending problem to untangle, not a posting job to hand over. GullySales works on the pages, introductions and first-step offer that draw those founders and let the rest go.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For marketing consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search words describe the wrong job”

A founder who types social media manager near me wants execution. A founder who types whether to replace an agency wants a consultant. Pages that answer the second question draw the enquiry you want, while pages that list every channel draw the first kind and a comparison with agency fees.

  • “A forwarded name lands on a vague site”

One founder tells another to speak to a particular adviser. The second founder opens the site and cannot tell whether you advise or deliver. An introduction that arrives at an unclear page is lost without any message reaching you, so the page must state the offer in its first lines.

  • “Free ideas arrive as the first enquiry”

A founder writes asking for a call to share a few thoughts on growth. That call produces a free pitch and no engagement. A named paid first step on the page turns the same founder into a buyer, or into a quiet exit that costs you no time.

  • “LinkedIn writing reaches other marketers”

Posts about marketing trends gather applause from fellow marketers. The founder who signs the engagement reads a post describing their own position, such as a sixth agency with no clear owner. Write for the buyer's situation and the right readers start to reply.

What we do

What we deliver for marketing consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Positioning line

One sentence for the site and profile saying which founders you advise and at what stage of business.

Result: A visitor can say who you are for after one glance.

  2. Paid first-step page

A page naming the first review, what it covers, what the founder brings and what the founder receives.

Result: Enquiries arrive already knowing the start is paid.

  3. Situation pages

Short pages on worries such as an agency nobody can assess or a budget spread over too many channels.

Result: Visits from search land on a page that matches the worry.

  4. Forwardable introduction note

A short paragraph a client or contact can send on, saying what you do and what you refuse to do.

Result: A forwarded name arrives with context attached.

  5. Enquiry log by source

A record of each enquiry, who introduced it, what it asked for and whether it became a paid review.

Result: You can see which sources bring buyers and which bring requests for free ideas.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should I run ads to get consultancy leads?
Run a small paid search test only after the pages and first-step offer are clear. Advertising a vague page buys the wrong enquiries. Read what the clicks ask for, then decide whether the channel earns its place in your practice.
Which matters more, LinkedIn or the website?
They do different jobs. LinkedIn is where a founder first meets your thinking, and the website is where the founder checks that you are an adviser and finds the first step. A weak website loses the people LinkedIn sends, and the reverse holds too.
How do I stop calls that only want free advice?
Say on the page what the first conversation covers and what it leaves out. Ask two or three qualifying questions before any call is booked, and move to the paid review once the founder's problem is clear.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
