Virtual CFO services · Digital marketing

Put the same clear offer in front of founders on every screen they use.

Digital marketing for a virtual CFO practice is the joined-up use of your pages, search, profile, referrers and records so a founder meets one clear story wherever they look. GullySales works on that story and on tying each channel to an enquiry you can trace.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For virtual CFO services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A founder checks you in more than one place”

The founder hears your name from a banker, searches it, opens the website and then the partner's profile. If these disagree on who you serve, the call is lost before it is made.

  • “Spending on ads before the offer is clear wastes it”

An ad for part-time finance leadership sends a founder to a page that says strategy and insights. The founder leaves. The page has to name the reports and the first piece of work before any paid traffic arrives.

  • “Channels are measured by what they bring”

Visits and followers feel like progress. What matters to a practice is which source sent a scoped engagement, and whether that engagement outlasted a fundraise.

  • “Referral is a digital channel too”

A banker sharing your sample report, or a chartered accountant forwarding your page, moves through a link. Making that link easy to pass on is part of the work.

What we do

What we deliver for virtual CFO services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One statement of who you serve

A short description of the companies, the problems and the reports, used identically across website, profile and notes.

Result: A founder reads the same story in every place.

  2. A map of channels to enquiries

Search, profile, referrers and past clients, each with the way an enquiry from it is recorded.

Result: A sheet showing where each enquiry began.

  3. Pages that carry paid traffic

Pages for the kinds of company and triggers you serve, ready before any ad is bought, with the platform's current rules checked.

Result: An ad that lands on a page that answers it.

  4. A shareable sample report page

A page for a sample report, built so a banker or accountant can forward it.

Result: Referrers have something to pass on.

  5. A record of results by source

Enquiries, scoped engagements and engagements that continued after a funding event, grouped by source.

Result: A view of which source earns its time.

  6. A review of the whole picture

A reading of what is working and what is not, with a short list of what to change next.

Result: A next step chosen from the record, not from habit.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need paid ads?
Not necessarily. Founders in difficulty search, ask advisers and check profiles, so we begin with pages, search and referrers. Paid ads come only when the offer and pages are ready.
What do you report on?
Enquiries by source, calls reaching scope, engagements signed and engagements that continued. We do not report followers or visits as results.
Can you promise growth?
No. We do not promise enquiries, engagements or revenue. We give you a clearer offer, working channels and a record that shows what each one brings.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
