Branding and graphic design studios · Content marketing

Answer the questions founders ask before they ask you.

Content marketing for a design studio is the case pages and short guides explaining how a project runs, what it costs and what the client is handed at the end. GullySales picks the questions worth answering and writes them from a call with you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For branding and graphic design studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The case page is the content, the grid is not”

The brief, the constraint the client set, what happened after launch. A thumbnail says none of it.

  • “Founders search the questions you find awkward”

What a logo costs, how long a rebrand takes, who owns the files.

  • “Three finished pages beat a blog abandoned in March”

The designer writing it is also the one with the deadline.

What we do

What we deliver for branding and graphic design studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A case page structure you can fill in

The brief, the constraint the client set, what you showed, what they chose and what happened after launch, laid out as a form rather than a blank page.

Result: Writing up a project takes an evening.

  2. Written answers to the awkward questions

What an identity costs, how long a rebrand takes, who owns the working files, and what happens when the name turns out to be registered already.

Result: The questions that stall a quote are settled before the call.

  3. Three pages finished before a fourth is started

A short list of the pages worth having, written and published one at a time, rather than a blog that stops in March.

Result: What you publish is finished.

  4. Drafts written from a twenty-minute call

You talk through a project, we write it up, and you correct the design thinking. Nobody in the studio faces a blank page.

Result: The writing gets done without a designer becoming a writer.

  5. A guide for the founder who has never commissioned design

What to prepare, what a brief should contain and what happens at each stage, published for the reader who is not ready to enquire yet.

Result: A nervous founder arrives already knowing how you work.

  6. Reporting on which pages produced enquiries

Reads and enquiries for each case page and guide, set against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: The next thing you write is chosen for you.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

The questions a founder asks before commissioning a brand, and the piece that answers each.

What will I have in my hands at the end?
A handover page listing the files: logo in each format, colour codes, fonts, a short guidelines document, social profile sizes. State what is included and what is a separate paid job.
Will I own the logo, and what about the fonts?
Explain in plain words when the rights pass, which is usually on final payment, and that fonts and stock images carry their own licences. Link to the clause in your agreement.
How does a project run, step by step?
Show the sequence: brief, research, first routes, feedback, finishing, handover. Mark where the client's decision is needed, so a founder knows what slows a project.
Can you do the packaging as well as the logo?
A packaging page with one real case: dieline, printer's specification, how the proof is checked against the final box. D2C founders want a studio that has dealt with the printer.
What happens when the printer or signage maker gets my files?
A page on file preparation: colour mode, bleed, vector and print-ready versions, and what you check at proof. It shows you finish a job rather than hand over a folder.
We are rebranding. What changes beyond the logo?
A rollout checklist: signboard, packaging stock, invoice format, Google Business Profile, WhatsApp Business profile, social handles. Owners miss the list, and a studio that gives it away looks careful.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the content marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Why us

Why a studio brings us in for its own pipeline.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

We work the part after the enquiry as well: the reply, the follow-up, the proposal and the CRM your own pipeline runs on.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

None of us can write. Is that a problem?
No. You talk through a project for twenty minutes, we draft it, you correct the design thinking.
Will publishing prices scare clients away?
It scares away the ones who were never going to pay. The rest arrive having accepted it.
Should a case page show the rejected routes as well as the final design?
Show one or two, with the reason they were set aside. It proves a real process and helps a client see why a plain-looking result took thought. Only show rejected work if the client has agreed, and never show another client's brief.
Is a video walk-through of a project better than a written page?
Use both. A short walk through a finished identity, with the designer speaking over it, is what a founder watches. The written page is what a search finds and what a procurement person forwards. Write it first.
How do we justify our fee against cheap online logos?
Show what the fee buys beyond the file. A cheap logo comes with no trademark check, no guidelines and no artwork sized for the signboard. A scoped package lists those lines, so the founder sees what the gig-site price leaves out.
Should we check trademarks before presenting a name?
Yes, at least a basic public search of the trademark registry in the client's class. Add a note that a formal search and filing belong with a trademark attorney. It saves the client from falling in love with a name they cannot protect.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
