Interior design firms · Website

Build a site organised by project type and budget, not a single photo gallery.

Website design and development for an interior design firm means a site structured around project types and budget bands, with a written narrative for each. It is not a single scrolling photo gallery with no context. GullySales builds this so a client can find and trust a project that matches their own brief.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For interior design firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Budget signals help a client self-qualify before enquiring”

A page grouping projects by budget band saves both sides the awkwardness of a mismatched first conversation.

  • “Each project page needs a written brief and solution”

A short account of the client's brief and how it was solved gives the portfolio context a bare photo gallery lacks.

  • “The enquiry form should ask for the project type and rough budget”

Starting the enquiry with these two questions gets the design team a genuinely usable lead from the first message.

What we do

What we deliver for interior design firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Portfolio organised by project type and budget band

Projects grouped so a client can browse by apartment, villa or retail work and by roughly what it cost.

Result: A client can tell if your work fits their budget before enquiring.

  2. Written brief and solution for each project page

A short account of the client's original brief and how it was solved, added to each portfolio entry.

Result: A project page shows the thinking behind the result, not just the photos.

  3. Enquiry form asking project type and budget first

A form starting with the project type and a rough budget range, before general contact details.

Result: The design team gets a usable enquiry from the first message.

  4. Site section addressed to architects and builders

A page explaining how you work with an architect or builder already on a project, and how to bring you in.

Result: A referral partner has somewhere clear to send a client.

  5. Site enquiry report against the baseline

Enquiries by project type and page tracked and checked against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You know which portfolio page is actually generating enquiries.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the page must show

What an interior design firm's website must show before a client books a consultation.

Project type and area in every caption
Label each project as 2BHK, 3BHK, villa, clinic or cafe, with the carpet area. A client with a 2BHK looks for a 2BHK first and leaves if the gallery is unlabelled.
How design fees are worked out
Say whether you charge per square foot, a percentage of project cost or a fixed design fee, and what the first consultation covers. Do not leave the client to guess.
Photographs of the real site
Show the finished room, and where you can, the same room under work with a date. Renders alone look like anyone's work.
Materials and brands you normally specify
Name the plywood grade, laminate and hardware brands you use, and the warranty on carpentry. Without it a client cannot compare your quote with another firm's.
The stages and who the client deals with
Set out the steps from measurement and mood board to handover, name the project manager, and mark which stages need the client's sign-off.
A consultation button on every project page
Link each project page to a form already set to that project type. A client who liked a villa should not land on a general contact page.

Who it is for

This is written for these interior design firms.

  • Residential interior design studios
  • Turnkey design-and-build firms
  • Retail and commercial interior design firms
  • Office and workplace interior design firms
  • Boutique single-designer practices
  • Modular kitchen and furniture-focused design firms
  • Design firms working closely with architects and builders

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no written brief or solution for any finished project, so each project page would be a photo gallery.
  • Your photographs are taken without client permission, so a new site would publish images you cannot keep up.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

All case studies
  • Houzeome Interior Design Studio

    Situation
A client choosing an interior designer wants to see rooms the studio actually finished. The site showed stock photography, which tells a prospective client nothing about this studio.
    What we did
    • A custom site build
    • The studio's own photography
    • One brand across the site
    • Six project pages
    Result
    • Six real projects published, each with its own detailed case-study page

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long does this take to build?
It depends on how many projects need a full written case study, which we scope after we have read your brief and spoken to you.
Can our existing photos be reused?
Good photography can be reused, alongside writing the project narratives that are often missing from an existing site.
Can we use 3D renders if we have few finished projects?
Yes, if each one is labelled as a render and never shown as a completed site. Pair it with any real photograph you have, even of one room. Clients forgive a young portfolio sooner than they forgive a render passed off as built work.
Do we need permission to show photographs taken inside a client's home?
Get written consent before publishing, and agree what may be shown: faces, nameplates, family photographs, the address. Most firms show the rooms without the address. Keep the consent message, because a client can ask for removal later.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
