Psychotherapy practices · Review generation

Do not ask a client for a review, and build the trust another way.

In most trades review generation means asking a satisfied customer to write it down. For a psychotherapy practice it largely does not apply, because anyone writing publicly that your therapy helped has disclosed that they were in therapy. GullySales says so plainly and builds the proof elsewhere.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

Realistic editorial illustration of psychotherapy practices at work in India

What review generation means

In a clinic or practice a review is a public statement by a patient, and asking for one is restricted or unwise in several regulated professions. Review generation here is proof that does not depend on a patient writing in public: the professional listing kept accurate, the note back to the referring doctor, and a reply that never confirms somebody was a patient. GullySales sets that up and tracks what arrives without soliciting it.

For psychotherapy practices

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A public review identifies the person who wrote it”

Under their own name, permanently, on a page anyone can search. Some will do it willingly and still regret it in five years when an employer or a family member finds it. That is not a risk worth inviting for a star rating.

  • “Professional bodies restrict what a therapist may solicit and publish”

Rules on requesting testimonials from clients differ between bodies and they change, and it is your registration at stake. Ask your own council or professional body before any request is drafted, and keep the answer you are given.

  • “There is a lot you can build that does not involve a client”

A colleague's account of working with you, a written piece that shows how you think about a problem, an accurate professional directory entry, and the psychiatrist who keeps referring. Those do the job a review does elsewhere.

What we do

What we deliver for psychotherapy practices.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A written position on reviews, agreed with you

What your practice will and will not do about public reviews, checked against what your professional body says, so every person who answers the phone gives the same answer.

Result: Nobody improvises when a platform prompts them to ask.

  2. Proof built from professional sources

Qualifications, memberships, supervision arrangements, training and directory entries made visible and kept accurate.

Result: A cautious reader can check you without any client being involved.

  3. Writing that shows how you work

Short pieces on the concerns you treat, written in your voice, doing the reassurance a testimonial would do in another trade.

Result: A person can judge whether you are the right therapist before they write.

  4. A private feedback route that never becomes public

A way for a client to tell the practice what was difficult, used for improving the service and not reproduced anywhere.

Result: You learn what needs changing without a public channel.

  5. A calm reply prepared for a negative review

Wording that neither confirms nor denies that anybody is a client, drafted before it is needed rather than under pressure.

Result: Nobody replies in the moment and breaches confidence doing it.

How the result is measured

  • Reviews received
  • Average rating
  • Response rate to requests

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these psychotherapy practices.

  • Individual counselling and psychotherapy practices
  • Couples and family therapy practices

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for psychotherapy practices

  1. 1

Audit the enquiry journey with care

We check how someone finds the practice for a specific concern today, how the first message is answered, and where privacy could be better protected.

  2. 2

    Build concern-led pages

A page for each concern, such as anxiety or couples counselling, written to be recognised by someone experiencing it, without exaggerated claims.

  3. 3

    Fix the first response

A calm, prompt reply routine for enquiries, trained to acknowledge the message respectfully before any administrative questions.

  4. 4

    Build visibility without compromising privacy

Search and content built around concerns and locality, with no client-identifying material used anywhere.

  5. 5

    Report on enquiries, not people

A report of enquiry volume and response time by concern area, built so no client's identity ever appears in it.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Somebody left us a good review without being asked. Can we use it?
You did not solicit it, which is a real difference, but reposting or promoting it may still fall under the same restrictions and it draws attention to that person. Ask your professional body before you share it. Leaving it where it sits, unamplified, is the quieter choice.
What do we do about a review we believe is unfair?
Reply only in words that confirm nothing about anybody, or do not reply at all. You cannot state that the writer was or was not a client, which removes most of the usual defence. Report it to the platform if it breaches their rules, and take the specifics to your supervisor rather than the internet.
How do you handle marketing without using client stories?
Through the therapist, not the client. A page that explains your training, your approach and what a first session feels like does the work a testimonial does elsewhere. No identifiable client story is ever used.
Will this involve tracking individual clients?
No. Our reporting works at the level of enquiry volume and concern area, never by name, and we agree what is tracked before starting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
