Flooring contractors · Local SEO

Appear on the map when a nearby owner searches for someone to lay a floor.

Local SEO for a flooring contractor means making your firm appear when a person in your city searches for tile, stone or wood work near them. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the service-area pages and the finished-floor evidence from each locality.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Flooring companies: show a real physical business scene illustrating Room-wise measurement and quote. Quote room by room from measured areas, with your wastage rule applied as area becomes boxes. Underlay, skirting and laying lines are added to the quotation format at set-up.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For flooring contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The map shows a name and photographs, nothing more”

An owner scrolling the map looks at the photographs, the reviews and the listed services before calling. A profile with a logo and a phone number loses to one that shows finished floors.

  • “Service areas are claimed but not proved”

Listing every locality in the city looks lazy. A profile that shows floors finished in named areas gives the searcher a reason to believe the crew will reach them.

  • “Reviews describe the mason, not the job”

A review that says good work does not tell the next owner what was laid. The ones that name the floor, the area and the finish are the ones that match a search.

  • “Different floors need different listing categories”

A profile set only to general contractor hides polishing and wooden flooring work. The listing should name the services the firm wants more of, in the words buyers type.

What we do

What we deliver for flooring contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A cleaned Google Business Profile

Services, service areas, opening hours and a short description rewritten around the floors you want more of.

Result: The profile says what you lay and where you work.

  2. A photograph routine for each finished floor

A simple step at the end of each job: daylight pictures, floor type and locality noted, added to the profile.

Result: New work appears on the profile as jobs finish.

  3. Locality pages

Pages for areas where you have finished floors, with the sites shown and the type of floor named.

Result: A searcher in a locality finds floors done nearby.

  4. A review request message

A short message sent by WhatsApp after handover asking the owner to mention the floor and the area.

Result: Reviews describe the floor, not only the behaviour of the crew.

  5. Listing consistency check

Name, address and phone compared across Google, directories and your own site.

Result: The same details appear everywhere a buyer might look.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does a contractor without a shop need a map listing?
Yes, as a service-area business. Hide the home address if you prefer and list the areas you serve. Check Google's current rules before setting it up.
Is it fine to ask customers for reviews?
Yes, ask every owner after handover. Do not offer a discount or gift in return, and do not write reviews yourself. Check the platform's current rules.
Which localities should we list?
The ones where you have finished floors and are willing to travel for a job. Add more once there is real work to show there.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
