Flooring contractors · Search engine optimisation

Let buyers searching for a floor type find your firm by name of the work.

SEO for a flooring contractor means writing pages that match how people describe the floor they want: vitrified tile laying, granite polishing, wooden decking, epoxy for a factory. GullySales works on page structure, finished-floor evidence and the wording buyers use.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Flooring companies: show a real physical business scene illustrating Room-wise measurement and quote. Quote room by room from measured areas, with your wastage rule applied as area becomes boxes. Underlay, skirting and laying lines are added to the quotation format at set-up.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For flooring contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by floor, not by trade”

A person types the material and the room: marble polishing for a living room, anti-skid tiles for a terrace. A single page headed flooring services cannot answer all of those, so the firm is missing from each search.

  • “Restoration is searched differently from laying”

Someone with a dull marble floor is not looking for a new one. They want polishing and crack filling. Without a separate page, that search lands on a competitor who wrote one.

  • “Industrial buyers use the language of the problem”

A maintenance head searches for dusting, joint cracks or worn bays. If your industrial page speaks only of epoxy and VDF as product names, it is missed by the person with the complaint.

  • “Photographs without words are invisible to search”

A beautiful granite floor on a page with no caption says nothing. The type of stone, the area, the city and the finish written beside it are what the page is found by.

What we do

What we deliver for flooring contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A floor-type page structure

One page each for tile laying, stone, wood and vinyl, polishing and restoration, anti-skid paving and industrial floors.

Result: A search for a specific floor can reach a page written for it.

  2. Captioned finished-floor galleries

Each photograph labelled with material, area, finish and city.

Result: Every image carries words a searcher would use.

  3. A restoration page

What can be saved, how a floor is assessed and what the owner should clear before the crew comes.

Result: A person with a worn floor finds a page about worn floors.

  4. An industrial method page

Joints, curing and surface finish, described in terms a plant head recognises.

Result: A maintenance head reads method, not only a list of products.

  5. City and locality references

Pages that name the areas you work in, backed by sites you have actually finished there.

Result: The pages name real localities and real jobs.

  6. A search report on floor terms

A review of which floor-type searches reach your pages and which do not.

Result: You see which floors have no page yet.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a separate page for every tile type?
Not for every tile. Group by the work: laying, stone, wood, polishing and industrial. Add a page when buyers ask the same question again and again so that it needs its own answer.
Will SEO bring us to the first place on Google?
We cannot promise a position. Search results change and competitors write pages too. We build pages that describe your work clearly and record what reaches them.
Do old project photos help?
Yes if the floor is shown well and you can say the material, area and city. Dark or blurred pictures are better left out than published.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
