Land brokers · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a buyer reads when they search for plots in your taluk.

SEO for a land broker is making your areas, land types and plot sheets findable when a buyer searches for plots, farmland or sites near a town. GullySales works on area pages, plot sheets and the internal links that show search engines which places you know.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For land brokers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search the place before the broker”

The search starts with a town, a highway or a layout name, with the word plots or farmland beside it. A site that says only land for sale has no page matching those words, so the buyer lands on a portal that does.

  • “A sold plot empties the listing page”

A plot listed in spring and sold by autumn leaves a dead link or a page of sold stamps. The area page should stay while individual plots come and go, so the page keeps its standing and the buyer still finds what is left.

  • “Local names differ from the map's name”

The village, layout or corridor has a name the buyer uses and another on the survey record. Writing both on the page, with the road and the nearest town, matches how the buyer types and how the owner talks.

  • “A page copied from a forwarded message says nothing”

A page made of a pin, three photographs and a price reads the same as every other broker's. Search engines find nothing to tell yours apart. The road, the approvals the owner states, the water source and the neighbours do the telling.

What we do

What we deliver for land brokers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each area and land type

Plots, farmland and farmhouse sites each get their own page for each place you can speak for.

Result: A search for an area lands on a page written for that area.

  2. The names buyers type

A list of local names, spellings and old layout names, set into headings and text.

Result: The page carries the spelling the buyer types.

  3. Plot sheets that outlive the sale

A sold plot keeps its page, marked sold, with links to what is still available nearby.

Result: A sold plot sends the reader to another plot, not to an error.

  4. Internal links from area to plot to checklist

Each area page links to its plots and to the buyer checklist, and each plot links back.

Result: A reader moves from area to plot to checklist without searching again.

  5. Titles and descriptions in the words buyers use

Written for each page, naming the area and the land type.

Result: Each page shows its own title in the search result.

  6. Search Console connected

Google Search Console set up, so the queries that bring readers are read from Google itself.

Result: You see which searches brought a reader to which page.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I know which area to write first?
Start where you hold plots or the owner's trust. A page on an area you can speak for, with roads, documents and what the owner has stated, serves a buyer better than a thin page on a bigger place known only from a map.
Will a portal listing hurt my own site?
No. A portal is another place for a buyer to find you. Keep your own page as the one that carries your documents, your film and your number, and link to it from the portal profile where the rules allow.
Can I write that a layout is approved?
Only as the owner states it, with the documents you hold named, and with a line sending buyers to their own lawyer. Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own adviser before using words such as approved or clear title.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
