Product and industrial design studios · Search engine optimisation

Be the studio that appears when a maker searches for product design.

SEO for a product design studio is the work of making pages that match what manufacturers and founders type when they need a product designed. GullySales writes pages by product, material and process, and sets the site up so search engines can read it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For product and industrial design studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search for the problem”

Phrases such as design a plastic housing, product design for injection moulding or industrial design for medical devices are what a maker types. A page called our work cannot match them. Write pages on those phrases in the words a plant owner uses, and the search lands on something that answers.

  • “Designers' keywords bring the wrong visitors”

Terms such as portfolio or design inspiration draw students and other designers. Choose search targets that a buyer with a budget would use. Aim pages at the owner who would pay a fee, and let the student traffic go elsewhere.

  • “Case pages need words, not only images”

A search engine cannot read a render. Each project page must say the product, the material, the process and the problem solved. Describe every project in sentences: the brief, the material, the tool type and what changed between the first sketch and the handover.

  • “Process pages answer the fee question”

A page explaining concept, detailing and tooling support lets a buyer see what a staged fee buys before any call. Explain the stages and what the buyer receives at each, and the pricing question is answered before the call.

What we do

What we deliver for product and industrial design studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Product-type and process pages

Pages for the products and processes you design for, such as moulded parts, sheet metal and consumer appliances.

Result: Each product search has a page to land on.

  2. Project pages written for search

Each approved project told through brief, material, process and handover, with images carrying descriptive text.

Result: Your projects can be found by what they are.

  3. Staged-fee explainer page

A plain description of concept, development and tooling-support stages and what the buyer receives at each.

Result: A buyer understands the fee structure before calling.

  4. Technical clean-up

Titles, descriptions, image sizes, page speed and linking between related pages are corrected.

Result: Search engines can read every page you want found.

  5. Search report in plain words

Which pages are shown, which searches bring visits and which enquiries followed.

Result: You can see which pages bring serious buyers.

  6. Internal links from projects to services

Each project page links to the matching service and process page, and back.

Result: A reader moves from proof to offer in one click.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How soon will rankings improve?
We give no timeline and no ranking promise. Search results move for reasons outside anyone's control. We report on which pages are shown and which brought enquiries.
Should we publish prices?
No fixed price is right for every product. Explain how the stages are priced and what each delivers, which answers the question without a number that will not fit.
Will images slow the site?
They can, if left unprepared. We compress and size them for phones so a render shows quickly and the page stays readable. We also test the pages on a basic connection before they go live.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
