Remodelling and home improvement contractors · Website

A remodelling website wins when a homeowner finds a project that looks like their house.

A website for a remodelling contractor is a portfolio, a price conversation and an enquiry path in one place, built for a homeowner comparing several companies by photograph. GullySales works on the project pages, the budget wording and the form behind them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For remodelling and home improvement contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The photographs are the whole sale”

The visitor scrolls the images before reading a word, hunting for their own layout, their own style of house and their own cramped before-picture. A site with four phone snaps and a ladder in the shot loses to one with finished rooms photographed properly.

  • “A project page beats a gallery”

A grid of unlabelled pictures tells the visitor nothing. A page for each job, with the before, the problem the owner had, the scope, the finishes chosen and a budget band, lets a similar household see itself in the work and judge the price at once.

  • “Silence about money keeps the wrong buyers”

A site that never mentions cost draws every dreamer, and the estimator spends evenings on households far below range. Saying what projects of each type start at filters people before the visit and makes the serious enquiry more confident.

  • “The form qualifies the enquiry or wastes it”

A name and a message box brings back a vague line. Asking for the room, a rough budget range, the timing and whether the home is owned gives the estimator something to price a first call around.

What we do

What we deliver for remodelling and home improvement contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Project pages built from finished jobs

Each major job gets its own page with photographs, the brief, the scope and the finish choices, written in plain words a homeowner would use.

Result: Each major job you have done has its own page.

  2. A photography brief for your crew or a photographer

A shot list for each room, covering wide views, details and the before, so finished work is captured before the scaffolding comes down.

Result: You hand a photographer a list rather than a request to take some pictures.

  3. Budget wording on each service page

Starting ranges by project type, supplied by you from your own jobs and edited by us, so the page tells the visitor whether to carry on.

Result: Every service page states what the work starts at.

  4. An enquiry form that qualifies

Fields for the room, the budget range, the timing and the location, with a note on what happens after the form is sent.

Result: The estimator reads the room and budget before calling back.

  5. Pages for the towns you serve

A page for each area you work in, with local projects on it, so a search for a remodeller in that town lands on relevant work.

Result: Each area you serve has a page showing jobs done there.

  6. Reviews and proof beside the work

Client reviews, licences and insurance placed next to the projects they relate to rather than gathered on one forgotten page.

Result: A visitor sees proof on the same screen as the photographs.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we put prices on the website?
Put starting ranges by project type, not a quote. A line saying kitchens of a given scope start at an amount you choose tells the visitor whether to continue. Only you can set figures for your market, and you should be able to stand behind them on site.
Do we need a new site or better photographs first?
Photographs first, if the site is otherwise sound. New pages built on weak images look like the old ones. Once finished jobs are shot, the site can be rebuilt around them, which spends money where the visitor is actually looking.
Should we keep our Houzz profile as well?
Keep both, with your own site as home base. Houzz and similar profiles send visitors, but the homeowner is comparing you with others there. Your site is where you control the budget wording, the form and the follow-up. Link each to the other.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
