Restaurants · Email marketing

Reach the office admin who books thirty lunches, not a diner's inbox.

Email for a restaurant is for the corporate side: the office lunch order, the team party and the bulk invoice that needs GST on it. GullySales builds the list from the companies nearby and your own bookings, and keeps guest reminders on WhatsApp where people actually read.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For restaurants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Diners do not read email, admin teams do

A family decides at seven in the evening on a phone. A team lunch for thirty is arranged in an inbox at eleven in the morning.

  • The GST invoice is the whole conversation

An office cannot book you without a proper invoice and payment terms, and that question kills more corporate orders than the food ever does.

  • December is decided in October

Office parties get budgeted weeks ahead, and the restaurant that wrote in October is on the list.

What we do

What we deliver for restaurants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of the offices within reach, built by hand

The companies, tech parks and co-working floors within delivery and walking distance, with the admin or HR contact found properly rather than bought.

Result: You are writing to people who can actually place an order.

  2. An office lunch note with the invoice details in it

Combos, per-head pricing, the delivery window, the minimum order, GST invoicing and payment terms, in one mail an admin can forward to finance.

Result: The question that stops corporate orders is answered upfront.

  3. The year-end party mail sent in October

A party menu, the seating, the private area and the dates still open, written to admin teams before their budgets are committed.

Result: December fills with bookings made in autumn.

  4. Guest reminders kept on WhatsApp, with consent

Birthday and anniversary notes and the weekday offer sent to guests who opted in at the bill, on the channel they read, with an easy way to stop.

Result: Regulars hear from you without being annoyed.

  5. A note to last year's party organiser

A short mail to whoever booked a party with you last year, a few weeks before the same season comes round, with what has changed on the menu.

Result: The kitty party comes back without being chased.

  6. Opens, replies and orders reported monthly

Which mails were opened, which brought replies and which turned into orders or bookings, split between the corporate and guest lists, against the baseline.

Result: You learn which list earns its time.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for restaurants

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at covers by day, the mix of dine-in and delivery, app spend and returns, reviews and how party enquiries are handled.

  2. 2

    Fix the listing and reviews

An up-to-date Maps profile and a review routine, because that is where tonight's decision is made.

  3. 3

    Start knowing your guests

A consented guest record and a direct ordering route, so regulars can be reached without an app.

  4. 4

    Fill the slow days

Weekday, office lunch and celebration campaigns aimed at the tables that sit empty.

  5. 5

    Keep regulars coming

Occasion messages, festival menus and a steady reason to come back or order direct.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is email worth it for a single outlet?
For corporate lunches and parties, yes, because that is where those bookings are arranged. For diners, use WhatsApp with consent, since almost nobody opens a restaurant newsletter.
Can we buy a list of local company contacts?
Do not. Bought lists get marked as spam and take your domain with them, so the admin who would have ordered never sees the next mail. Build it from buildings you can walk to.
Should we leave Swiggy and Zomato?
Rarely. The apps bring new customers you would not reach otherwise. The aim is to rely on them less by moving repeat customers to direct orders and filling tables in the restaurant.
Are paid food blogger visits worth it?
They can put a new restaurant on people's lists, but a bump in followers is not the same as covers. We choose creators whose audience lives nearby, ask for honest content with clear disclosure, and check the following weeks' footfall.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
