Restaurants · Digital marketing

Get Monday to Thursday working as hard as your Saturday night.

Digital marketing for a restaurant is Maps, the delivery apps, Instagram and your own WhatsApp list working to one plan for the week you actually have. GullySales decides what each does on which day, and reports covers and direct orders against the baseline.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For restaurants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your problem is a day of the week, not a month

Most trades have a slow season. You have four slow evenings every week, and they come round again seven days later.

  • The apps own the customer unless you take them back

A card in the delivery bag and a WhatsApp number are the only route from an app regular to a customer of yours.

  • The office park decides your lunch

Six hundred people eat within walking distance at one o'clock, and their admin teams book the team lunches. Neither group knows your name.

What we do

What we deliver for restaurants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A week-shaped plan instead of a monthly calendar

What runs on a Tuesday, what runs for Friday and which offers go to the office lunch crowd, written against the covers you actually record by day.

Result: The empty evenings get a plan of their own.

  2. The delivery apps and your own orders counted together

Commission, funded discounts and app advert spend set beside direct WhatsApp and phone orders each month, so both are judged on what they leave you.

Result: You find out what an app order really earns.

  3. A route from app customer to direct customer

A menu card in the delivery bag, a WhatsApp ordering number and one reason to use it next time, aimed at people who already like the food.

Result: Repeat orders start arriving without commission.

  4. An introduction to the offices within walking distance

A lunch combo, a group ordering number and a note for the admin teams of the buildings and tech parks closest to you.

Result: Weekday lunch becomes a base instead of a gamble.

  5. One number answering across every channel

The same WhatsApp business number on Maps, Instagram, the website and the delivery bag, with a named person answering it during service.

Result: An enquiry does not wait for the manager's shift.

  6. One monthly report on covers, orders and reviews

Covers by day of the week, direct against app orders, new reviews and party bookings, all read against the figures taken before work started.

Result: You can see whether Tuesday moved.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for restaurants

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at covers by day, the mix of dine-in and delivery, app spend and returns, reviews and how party enquiries are handled.

  2. 2

    Fix the listing and reviews

An up-to-date Maps profile and a review routine, because that is where tonight's decision is made.

  3. 3

    Start knowing your guests

A consented guest record and a direct ordering route, so regulars can be reached without an app.

  4. 4

    Fill the slow days

Weekday, office lunch and celebration campaigns aimed at the tables that sit empty.

  5. 5

    Keep regulars coming

Occasion messages, festival menus and a steady reason to come back or order direct.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

The apps say our commission buys visibility. Is that true?
Inside the app, partly. It buys placement against restaurants paying the same as you. What it never buys is the customer's number, which is why the direct route matters more than the app ranking.
Where do we start if we can only do one thing?
The Business Profile with current photographs and prices, and a reply to every review. That is what people read in the hour before they eat.
Should we leave Swiggy and Zomato?
Rarely. The apps bring new customers you would not reach otherwise. The aim is to rely on them less by moving repeat customers to direct orders and filling tables in the restaurant.
Are paid food blogger visits worth it?
They can put a new restaurant on people's lists, but a bump in followers is not the same as covers. We choose creators whose audience lives nearby, ask for honest content with clear disclosure, and check the following weeks' footfall.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
