Building material dealers · WhatsApp marketing

Put the morning rate in the contractor's phone before a competitor does.

WhatsApp marketing for a building material dealer means using the app where contractors, mestris and painters already place orders to share rates, stock and reminders. GullySales works on the lists, the message wording and the order replies, within the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For building material dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The rate message is the product”

A contractor compares cement and steel rates across a few shops before lunch. The dealer whose message arrives first, in a clean format, with stock and delivery stated, is the one called back. Format and timing matter as much as the number.

  • “Group chats become unmanageable”

A single group with every contractor, painter and owner fills with replies, forwarded rates and noise, and buyers mute it. Separate lists by who is buying keep each message relevant, and a rate sent to the right list is read.

  • “Consent decides whether the list survives”

Adding people who never asked leads to blocks and reports, and a blocked number loses reach. A buyer who has asked for the rate and agreed to receive it stays on the list and replies to it.

  • “The reply is where the order happens”

A rate message that brings a reply nobody sees for hours wastes the effort. The contractor wants an answer on delivery and credit in minutes, so someone must own the incoming chat and know the stock.

What we do

What we deliver for building material dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A rate and stock message in a fixed format

A short template for cement, steel, blocks and sand, with date, brand, grade, rate and delivery area, ready for the team to fill.

Result: Regular buyers recognise your message at a glance.

  2. Lists by buyer type

Contractors, builders, painters and owners kept on separate broadcast lists, each with a record of who agreed to receive messages.

Result: Each buyer receives only what concerns their purchase.

  3. Saved replies for common questions

Saved answers on delivery area, credit terms, test certificates and tinting, used by whoever staffs the number.

Result: Replies are consistent whoever answers.

  4. A catalogue of products and brands

A WhatsApp Business catalogue with the materials you stock, names buyers use and a way to ask for a quote.

Result: A new contact can see what the yard sells without calling.

  5. Reminders and order confirmations

Messages that confirm each order, the delivery plan and the amount due, linked to the site.

Result: Disputes over what was ordered have a written record.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use a group or a broadcast list?
A broadcast list reaches each buyer one to one, so replies do not flood a group. Use a group only for a small, active set such as a few regular painters. Check the platform's current rules on lists and limits.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not for a yard that sends the rate to a modest list from the Business app. The API suits larger volumes and automated flows, and we recommend it only when your volume and team justify the cost.
How do we get contractors to join the list?
Ask at the counter and on the phone when they place an order, and note their agreement. People who are already buying are willing, and a list built that way keeps its reach.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
