Gemstone dealers · Local SEO

Make your shop easy to find for the buyer who wants to see the stone in hand.

Local SEO for a gemstone dealer is the work of appearing on the map for the buyer who prefers to hold a stone before paying, in your city or in the market where stone dealers sit together. GullySales works on the business listing, the shop details and the reviews behind it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For gemstone dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A buyer who will visit wants to see the stone under daylight”

A person searching near me for a gemstone shop has already seen a video and wants the final look in hand. The listing has to say that viewing is possible, at what hours and on what floor of which market.

  • “Markets full of dealers confuse the map”

In a lane where dealers share one building, a listing with a vague address sends the buyer to the wrong door. A floor, a landmark and a photograph of the entrance matter more here than in a street shop.

  • “Hours are tied to appointment viewing”

A dealer who shows stones by appointment cannot let the listing say open all day, because that brings a visitor to a shut shutter. Hours and a plain note about calling first protect both the visit and the dealer's name.

  • “Reviews are read for honesty about the stone”

A local buyer reads reviews to learn whether the stone matched its certificate and whether the dealer accepted a second-lab check. One reply that deals openly with a complaint reads as proof of character to the next person deciding whether to visit.

What we do

What we deliver for gemstone dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified business profile for the shop

The listing set up with correct name, address, floor, landmark and phone line, and the primary service chosen to match what you sell.

Result: The map shows the shop where a visitor will find it.

  2. Appointment hours written clearly

Opening hours and a line asking visitors to call first, with holiday hours set in advance.

Result: A visitor does not arrive at a closed shutter.

  3. Photographs of the entrance and viewing area

Photos of the street entrance, the signboard, the viewing table and the daylight window, without customers in them.

Result: A first-time visitor recognises the door on arrival.

  4. A review request at the viewing table

A short request made while the buyer is still in the shop, with the link on a card, and a reply written to each review.

Result: New reviews come from people who held the stone.

  5. Consistent name and address across listings

The same shop name and address on the map, IndiaMART, the website and any trade directory.

Result: Different listings no longer show different addresses.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a shop listing if we sell mostly on video calls?
Yes, if buyers ever visit. A listing is also how a distant buyer checks that the shop is real. Keep it accurate even when the sales happen remotely.
Should the listing show stone prices?
Not in the listing. Use the description for what you sell and your certificate practice, and leave prices to the stone pages where each rate sits beside its report.
Our building has several dealers with similar names. What do we do?
Use your own trade name exactly as on your signboard, add the floor, and link the listing to your site. Check the platform's current rules on naming, since a misleading name can lead to the listing being suspended.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
