Granite and marble showrooms · Buyer persona

The family, designer, builder and fitter each come to the yard wanting something else.

A buyer persona for a granite and marble showroom is a written portrait of one kind of person who buys or influences a stone purchase, with what they ask, fear and need to hear. GullySales works on drawing these from your own quote and visit records.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For granite and marble showrooms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The homeowner is spending a large sum on a material they cannot judge”

They arrive with a measurement, a photograph from a friend's home and a budget in mind. They want reassurance that the slab they pick will look the same laid as it does standing, and that the fitting will be clean.

  • “The designer is protecting a client's trust”

An interior designer brings a client to a yard they have used before. They need the lot size, the matching across slabs, a trade rate they can rely on and a showroom that will not undercut them by approaching the client directly.

  • “The builder is buying against a construction schedule”

A project manager wants matched lots, a fixed rate and delivery when the floors are ready. A late reply or a changed rate costs them a site delay, so reliability weighs above the lowest price.

  • “The fitter holds the quiet vote”

A mason or fitter tells the family where to buy and may expect a thank-you. Their concern is a slab that cuts cleanly and arrives on time, and their loyalty follows the yard that treats them fairly.

What we do

What we deliver for granite and marble showrooms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A one-page persona for each buyer

Homeowner, designer, builder and fitter, each with questions asked, doubts raised and the proof that settles them.

Result: The team can describe each buyer from a single page.

  2. The words each buyer uses

Phrases taken from calls, messages and quotes so that pages and replies sound like the buyer.

Result: Marketing copy uses the buyer's own wording.

  3. The path from first contact to order

Where each persona first meets the showroom, who else joins the decision and where the quote stalls.

Result: Each persona's route to an order is mapped.

  4. Objections and the answers given

The doubts raised about price, wastage, staining and delivery, with the answer the yard gives.

Result: Salesmen share the same answers.

  5. A persona check on existing pages

The website and posts reviewed to see which buyer each page speaks to and which is ignored.

Result: Every page has a named reader.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How can personas be built without a research budget?
From records the yard already holds: quotes, visit registers and the questions at the counter. A conversation with a few recent buyers and fitters adds the detail that records omit.
Do we need a persona for the fitter?
Yes, because the fitter steers the family to a yard and is rarely addressed by any marketing. Knowing what they want from a supplier shapes the thank-you arrangement.
How many personas are enough?
One for each type of buyer that brings real orders. For a showroom like this that is the homeowner, designer, builder and fitter, and a small yard may start with the two that bring the most work.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
