Hardware stores · Website

A hardware shop's website should answer whether the item is in stock before the call.

A website for a hardware store is a plain site that shows what the shop sells, who it serves and how to ask for a rate. GullySales plans and writes the site around your product families, your trades and your WhatsApp number.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For hardware stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A buyer wants to know if you have it”

A visitor checks whether the shop sells a given brand of power tool or a type of lock. A site that lists the families of stock and invites a stock query answers the one thing the buyer came to learn.

  • “Photographs of the shop reassure the first-time buyer”

A contractor who has never visited wants to see a real counter and shelves. Pictures of the actual premises, stock and signboard tell the buyer the shop exists and is worth the trip.

  • “A catalogue that needs constant editing will be abandoned”

A site listing every item with live prices falls out of date. A site that lists families and key brands, and sends the rate query to WhatsApp, stays correct without constant editing.

  • “Mobile visitors outnumber desktop visitors in this trade”

Tradespeople browse on phones, outdoors. A site that loads slowly or needs pinching and zooming loses the visitor before the first line is read.

What we do

What we deliver for hardware stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A site plan built from your stock families

A page structure that groups fasteners, tools, locks, hinges, adhesives and fittings the way buyers ask for them.

Result: The site reflects how your buyers think.

  2. Pages for the trades you serve

Short pages for carpenters, plumbers, electricians, contractors and factory buyers, naming what each can get from you.

Result: Each trade finds a page that speaks to it.

  3. A rate-request route on every page

A WhatsApp button and a call link on every page, with a simple form for factory buyers wanting a quote.

Result: A visitor can ask in one tap.

  4. Shop details and a map

Address, hours, directions, parking notes and photographs of the entrance and counter.

Result: A new buyer can find the shop and its door.

  5. Plain writing and phone-first layout

Copy that uses the trade's own words and a layout checked on phones.

Result: The site reads easily on a site visit.

  6. A way to keep the site current

A short instruction on updating stock families and notices, assigned to one person.

Result: The site does not drift from the shelf.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need an online store?
Not for a counter shop. A site that shows the stock, the shop and the way to ask for a rate does the work. An online store suits items you can ship in a box and a team who can pack and dispatch them.
What should the site list about prices?
Rates change, so list ranges only where they are stable, and invite a quote for the rest. A page that asks the buyer to message for the rate keeps the conversation with the shop.
Who updates the site after launch?
We set it up so a named person at the shop can change notices and stock families without help. If the shop prefers, we can look after changes for you.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
