Innerwear stores · Buyer persona

Know who walks in: the nervous first buyer, the new mother and the family shopper.

A buyer persona for an innerwear store is a plain description of one type of customer: what they need, what worries them and how they decide. GullySales works on building these from your counter notes and sales records and writing each persona's questions into the shop's replies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For innerwear stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The daughter and the mother arrive together”

A first bra is bought with a mother. The daughter is embarrassed, the mother wants value and a proper fit, and the staff member who speaks kindly to both of them makes the sale and the next several.

  • “The new mother is shopping for a changed body”

Nursing wear, comfort and a clean, private corner matter more than brand to this buyer. A shop that explains the options without being asked, and offers a place to sit, earns a customer for the whole stage.

  • “The household shopper buys in one visit”

A man or a wife buying vests, briefs and school hosiery for the house wants range and sizes on the shelf and a short wait. Brand and price decide, and a cluttered display loses the sale.

  • “The wholesale visitor looks like a customer”

A small shop owner buying in quantity stands at the same counter. Treated as retail, they leave. A separate route and rate for trade buyers keeps both kinds of customer happy. Writing this buyer down as a persona stops the mix-up at the counter.

What we do

What we deliver for innerwear stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Persona sheets for each buyer type

A one-page description of the first-time buyer, the new mother, the household shopper, the sports buyer and the trade buyer.

Result: Staff can read who they are serving at a glance.

  2. A list of questions for each persona

The questions each buyer asks before a visit and at the counter, written in their own words.

Result: Replies and pages answer the real questions.

  3. Reply wording by persona

Opening lines and follow-ups for WhatsApp, matched to what each buyer is worried about.

Result: The first message sounds like it was written for that buyer.

  4. A counter note routine

A quick way for staff to note the type of need at billing, with no name taken.

Result: The personas are checked against what the till shows.

  5. A map from persona to route

Which buyers come from the map listing, which from a post and which from word of mouth.

Result: You can see which buyer each route reaches.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many personas should we write?
Start with the buyers who already fill the shop on a normal Saturday. Add another only when counter notes show a set of worries that none of the existing descriptions covers.
Do we need to record customer names to build personas?
No. Counter notes about the type of need, with no names, are enough. Where you keep names and sizes for re-fit invitations, keep them only for customers who agreed, and say what the record is for.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
