Mattress stores · Local SEO

Be the mattress shop that shows on the map when a tired buyer searches nearby.

Local SEO for a mattress store decides which three shops appear when someone searches for a mattress near them on Maps. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, the shop photographs, the review flow and the details that stop a listing contradicting itself.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For mattress stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The shortlist is made on the map”

A buyer with a sore back at ten at night saves two listings and visits one. The shops with real photographs, a firmness answer and a phone that replies are saved; the rest are scrolled past.

  • “Brand dealers inherit another shop's photographs”

A listing for an authorised dealer may carry the brand's stock image or a blurred upload. The buyer cannot tell the shop exists, so a few photographs of your actual floor change what the listing says about you.

  • “Opening hours matter on weekends”

Mattresses are bought on Saturdays and Sundays with the family. A listing that shows closed at four on a Sunday, or lists a holiday wrongly, loses the one afternoon when the whole household is free to visit.

  • “One shop with two names confuses the map”

A store known by the owner's name, the brand's name and a street name appears three different ways. Search then splits reviews and photographs across duplicates, and none of them wins the pack.

What we do

What we deliver for mattress stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile photographs of the real shop

A shot list covering the entrance, the trial beds, the brands on display, the counter and the delivery vehicle.

Result: The profile shows your showroom, not a stock image.

  2. A primary business type and description set properly

The right type for a mattress store, the sizes and mattress types you sell, and a description in plain language.

Result: The listing matches what you sell.

  3. Hours and special days entered

Regular hours, festival closures and extended weekend timings entered, and checked against the website and the shop board.

Result: The map shows the hours the door is open.

  4. Duplicate listings found and merged

Old or duplicate listings for the shop or a former owner traced and reported for removal.

Result: One listing carries the shop's reviews.

  5. A review request after delivery

A message with the review link, sent once the mattress has been delivered and slept on, with a reply written for each review.

Result: Reviews arrive from people who bought, and each has a reply.

  6. Call, direction and website counts read

The listing's own counts for calls, directions and website taps, noted at the start and compared afterwards.

Result: You can see whether the listing sends people through the door.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these mattress stores.

  • Multi-brand mattress stores with several brands side by side
  • Single-brand exclusive outlets of a national mattress company
  • Orthopaedic and back-care mattress specialists
  • Furniture shops with a large bedding section
  • Coir, cotton and handmade mattress makers selling from their own shop
  • Bed and bedding stores selling pillows, linen and toppers with mattresses
  • Dealers supplying hostels, PGs, hotels and hospitals in bulk
  • Customised and made-to-size mattress workshops

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Why does another shop show above mine?
Maps weighs distance from the searcher, the business type, hours and reviews. A shop closer to the buyer, or with fuller photographs and recent reviews, can rank above yours. We cannot promise a position.
Can I list each brand I stock?
Yes, as services or products on the profile, and in the description. Do not rename the shop after a brand you only stock. Check the platform's current rules on business names before changing anything.
Do reviews have to be five stars?
No. A mix of reviews with honest replies reads as more believable than a wall of identical ones. Do not offer gifts for reviews, and check the platform's current rules on asking for them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
