Online grocery stores · Social media

Show the packing table, the produce and the delivery run, not just the discount.

Social media for an online grocery store is the use of Instagram, Facebook and community groups to show what is packed, how it is packed and which households you serve. GullySales works on content from the packing area and on the apartment and locality groups where households ask each other for a supplier.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For online grocery stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Households ask in building groups, not on your page”

A new resident posts in the apartment group asking who delivers vegetables, and neighbours answer. A store with customers in that building gets mentioned. A brand page with nothing behind it does not. The work begins with households who are already satisfied.

  • “A photograph of produce settles the freshness doubt”

The buyer cannot touch the tomato. A plain picture of the morning's stock on the sorting table answers the doubt that no discount can. A glossy picture raises suspicion, while a tray in daylight reads as honest.

  • “A price post attracts the buyer who leaves”

A post built only around a discount draws someone comparing three apps. A post about the saved basket, a new locality or a sensible substitute speaks to a household that will stay. The mix should lean toward the second kind.

  • “Packing videos show care the buyer cannot see”

A short clip of a packer checking eggs or sealing a bag shows the standard behind the box. It also tells your own staff what that standard is, since they know the camera may be on the table.

What we do

What we deliver for online grocery stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Content from the packing area

A short list of shots for produce, staples and packing, so the team knows what to photograph and the owner can approve it at a glance.

Result: Posts come from your real stock and not from stock images.

  2. Apartment and locality group plan

How the store takes part in the groups its customers belong to, within each group's own rules and with the admin's agreement.

Result: You know which groups the store is welcome in and how.

  3. Festival and season posts

A list of festival and seasonal posts matched to the stock the warehouse can hold.

Result: No post advertises a basket the warehouse cannot pack.

  4. Reply guide for comments and messages

Wording for questions on missing items, slots and refunds, with a rule on when a public comment moves to a private chat.

Result: Public replies are consistent, whoever answers.

  5. Paid social test by locality

A small ad set for one locality with the cost of a first order counted from the start.

Result: You see what one locality costs before widening.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need a presence on every platform?
No. Pick the one or two where your own customers already are. Ask the households you served last and start there. A page that is kept up well on one platform does more than five that are neglected.
Are there rules for what we may say about food in posts?
Advertising rules differ by trade and state, and claims such as organic, fresh from the farm or health benefits need support. Check with your food safety adviser before posting, and check each platform's current rules.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
