Stationery and office supply dealers · Lead generation

Price the forty-item list before the admin leaves for the day.

For an office supply dealer the enquiry is a list of items on WhatsApp, and the order goes to whoever prices it first. GullySales names who handles that list, builds the rate sheet every quote is worked from, and finds the new offices worth walking into.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For stationery and office supply dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry is a photograph of a handwritten list”

Forty items, two of them illegible, sent at six in the evening. Whoever prices it before she goes home usually gets the order.

  • “A fit-out is the only moment an account is loose”

Once an office has a supplier it changes for a reason. A floor being wired and painted is that reason, and you can see it from the road.

  • “The person who sends the list does not approve the bill”

The admin chooses and accounts pays, so credit period and invoicing decide as much as the rate does. Both belong in the first quote.

  • “A wholesale enquiry and an office enquiry look alike”

A retailer asking for rates wants margin and credit. An office wants delivery and one bill. Quoting them the same way loses both.

What we do

What we deliver for stationery and office supply dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A named person on the office enquiry number

Who holds the enquiry phone and chat through the day, and who takes it after the counter rush, written on the board so it is never everybody's job.

Result: The evening list is read the evening it arrives.

  2. A rate sheet the counter can quote from

Standard rates for your fast-moving items with slab discounts, kept current, so a forty-item list is priced without anyone calling the owner.

Result: The quote goes back the same day.

  3. A walk list of new offices and fit-outs

Buildings, co-working floors and shops being fitted out inside your delivery radius, with the route, what to leave behind and when to call again.

Result: New accounts open in a pattern rather than by chance.

  4. A first-order offer with the terms written down

What the first month looks like: delivery days, credit period, invoicing and minimum value, on one page instead of negotiated again each time.

Result: An admin can agree without asking her manager twice.

  5. A follow-up call three days after the first delivery

A call from the person who quoted, to ask what was missed and to agree a standing monthly list for the account.

Result: A one-off order becomes a monthly account.

  6. An enquiry book with source and turnaround in it

Who asked, what for, when the quote went back and whether it converted, read together so a slow day shows up as a number.

Result: You can see which orders the delay cost you.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The routes by which an order list or a quote request reaches a stationery dealer.

A photograph of a handwritten list on WhatsApp
Reply by naming the person who will quote, and check the brand, size and quantity of each line. Save the sender's name, the company and the delivery address on the first list.
A call from an office admin
Ask who approves the bill and when payment is normally made. The caller and the approver are often different people, and credit terms decide whether the account is worth having.
A school or college purchase desk
Record the person, the term the order covers and the last date for delivery. Lists arrive before term starts, so log them now and call a few weeks before next year's.
A new office or fit-out
Find the contractor or admin setting it up, and note the opening date. The first stationery order for a new office is placed before the account is tied to anyone.
A tender or GeM requirement
Log the department, the items, the deadline and the registration conditions. Check your registration and the buyer's payment terms before pricing a long list.
A shop counter customer buying in bulk
A person buying for an office at the counter is a lead. Take the company name and GST number, and offer to send the rate sheet by WhatsApp.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

The list arrives at six in the evening. When should we reply?
The same evening, even if the quote is partial. Price the ten biggest lines, send those and say the rest follows by morning. An admin who has an answer that night stops asking anybody else.
Security will not let us past the gate. How do we reach the offices?
Go to the facilities desk and the building manager instead of the floors. Ask which companies have moved in recently and leave a catalogue at each reception. Once the manager knows you, many buildings will pass your details to the admin group themselves.
Should we ask for a GST number on the first quote?
Yes. A company wanting input credit needs its GSTIN on the invoice, and it tells you the buyer is an organisation and not a household. Record the legal name and billing address once, so the next order does not need the same questions.
How do we log school-season orders so we ring first next year?
Keep each school as a customer with the contact, the lists supplied and the delivery date. Add a note a few weeks before the next term. Schools buy on a cycle, and the dealer who calls before the list is out usually gets it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
