GullySales

Stationery and office supply dealers · Digital marketing

Spend on Maps, WhatsApp and the catalogue, in that order.

Digital marketing for a dealer of this kind is a calendar more than a budget, because the year has two spikes and a long flat middle. GullySales writes that calendar, repairs the listing and the catalogue first, and puts money only where an enquiry has been traced back.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For stationery and office supply dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The year has two peaks and you can name the weeks”

School reopening in April and May, diaries and calendars in October and November, exam supplies in between. The rest is maintenance.

  • “The catalogue is the campaign”

An admin who has your item list saved on her phone reorders without asking anyone. Nothing you post will beat that.

  • “Social media earns little here and we will say so”

Offices do not buy copier paper from a reel. Art, craft and gifting are the exception, because they photograph well and sell to a different customer.

  • “GeM is a channel, not a website”

Selling to government offices means listing products and watching bids on a portal. It has its own rhythm, its own paperwork and its own quiet months.

What we do

What we deliver for stationery and office supply dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A written year calendar

The school weeks, the exam weeks, the diary and calendar season and the quiet months, each with what happens, who does it and what it costs.

Result: Nobody is inventing next month's plan in the last week.

  2. The listing and the catalogue put right first

Your profile, categories and item list corrected and published before a rupee goes into advertising, because both are already costing you enquiries.

Result: The free channels start working before the paid ones.

  3. WhatsApp set up as an ordering channel

A catalogue on your business number, saved replies for the lists that repeat, and recorded consent for the accounts you message.

Result: Reordering from you takes less effort than opening an app.

  4. Money put only where enquiries are traced

Each channel given a small test budget and a number to hit, with the ones bringing only price checks stopped instead of renewed out of habit.

Result: You stop paying for listings that bring nothing.

  5. A GeM listing and a bid watch

Registration, product listings and a check of relevant bids, done with your accountant, where there are government buyers near you.

Result: Government orders nearby become reachable.

  6. One page of numbers

Enquiries by channel, quote turnaround, accounts active this month and accounts that stopped, set against the figures taken in the first week.

Result: One page tells you whether the work is paying.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for supply dealers

Put an orderable catalogue and a quick quote in front of the people who buy for offices.

A Maps listing with every category
List school stationery, printer toner, copier paper and pantry supplies as separate categories, with photographs of the shop and delivery vehicle. Count calls from the listing.
A catalogue an admin can order from
Build a PDF or WhatsApp catalogue by category with item codes, unit sizes and rates. Note which items admins ask for most.
A quote template for common orders
Prepare a priced sheet for your most-ordered items so a request is answered from the sheet. Log request time and quote time.
A reorder list for office accounts
List each office account with its last order date and usual items. Message the admin when an order is due, and record how many reorder.
A GeM registration and bid watch
Register on GeM, list the categories you supply and keep a note of bids you watched. Record the outcome of each one you quote.
What to leave until later
Instagram and general paid ads for the word stationery can wait. Offices find a dealer through Maps, WhatsApp and a catalogue.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to be on Instagram?
Not for office supply. Spend effort there only if you sell art, craft or gifting, which are the lines people buy from a picture. Your admin customers are reached on WhatsApp and on Maps.
What should we be doing in the slow months?
Working the accounts you already have. Add pantry and housekeeping lines to existing offices, clear the dues, and visit the buildings you never opened. That costs less than advertising into a month with no demand.
How do we compete with Amazon Business on price?
Do not try on a single item. Offer what a portal cannot: one invoice for stationery, toner and pantry items, a delivery day the office can plan around, and credit terms where you choose to give them. Record which accounts stay after the first order.
Is a website needed if we have a WhatsApp catalogue?
A catalogue serves people who already know you. A small site helps a procurement person who searches and wants GST details, a company profile and a downloadable price list. Start with the catalogue and add the site when quote requests come from strangers.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
