Electronic components distributors · Digital marketing

Join search, listings and replies so every online enquiry reaches a quoted BOM.

Digital marketing for a components distributor is the work of getting your stock found online and making sure each enquiry that arrives is answered, quoted and followed. GullySales connects your website, listings and marketplace leads to one enquiry log, so the channels are judged by orders and not by clicks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A distributor shows electronic components to a customer

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For electronic components distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels fail at the handover, not the click”

A part page ranks, a marketplace lead arrives, a map call comes in. Each lands in a different place, and the one that nobody answers is the one that costs the order. The fix is one log for all of them.

  • “Marketplace requests need sorting, not ignoring”

A listing sends price checks beside genuine BOMs. Replying to all with the same energy wastes the counter, and ignoring all loses the real ones. The reply routine decides which request earns a quote.

  • “Paid ads suit the part you hold and others do not”

Buying clicks for a part number you cannot supply sends the buyer to a competitor. Spend belongs on lines in stock with a page ready, and stops when the shelf empties.

  • “Reporting by channel hides the buyer's real path”

An engineer may see a post, search a part, check a listing and then phone. Counting only the last touch undervalues the page that started it. A note of how each buyer first found you tells the truer story.

What we do

What we deliver for electronic components distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One enquiry log for every channel

A single record into which website, marketplace, map and phone enquiries go, each tagged with its source and part numbers.

Result: Every enquiry has a source and a next action.

  2. A channel review against orders

A comparison of each channel's enquiries, quotes and orders from the log, set against what each costs you in time and money.

Result: You can say which channel brought orders and which brought noise.

  3. Part and brand pages for the lines that sell

Pages for the parts and brands you hold, with a stock status your team keeps current and links to the datasheets.

Result: A part number search can land on a page of yours.

  4. A rule for when to run paid ads

A short list of conditions, such as stock held and a page ready, that must be true before spend begins on a line.

Result: Spend stops when stock does.

  5. A first-contact question on every form and call

A standing question asking how the buyer found you, recorded in the log.

Result: The buyer's own account of discovery is on file.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Cover the searches that end in a quoted BOM.

A part and brand page for the lines you hold, with the stock position confirmed and a request-for-quote form beside it.
ESP32 module supplier
A page for modules and boards, for startups and colleges, with the parts named and a route to a person.
BOM sourcing for contract manufacturing
A page for kitting and BOM pricing explaining how a sheet is quoted and how missing lines are handled.
authorised distributor of capacitors
A brands page stating which lines you are authorised for and which you source otherwise, kept accurate.
components supplier reviews
Your listings, your site and your replies checked for the same name and address, since buyers check before sending a BOM.

Who it is for

This is written for these electronic components distributors.

  • Authorised distributors for one or two brand lines
  • Multi-brand stockists of ICs, passives and connectors
  • Independent and excess-stock traders
  • Development board, module and sensor suppliers for startups and colleges
  • BOM sourcing and kitting firms for contract manufacturers
  • Repair spares and service parts counters
  • Relay, transformer, battery and power component suppliers
  • Importers who source against a customer's RFQ

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You expect each channel to produce enquiries without a single log of where they came from.
  • Nobody sorts marketplace requests, so more channels would add unanswered ones.
  • You want ads for parts you can only source on order, which brings clicks you cannot satisfy.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small counter start with digital marketing?
With the enquiry log and the reply routine, then part pages for the lines that sell best. Adding channels before the existing enquiries are answered well only brings more requests to lose.
Do we need to be on every platform?
No. Choose the places your buyers search and talk: search, the map, a marketplace if it brings real BOMs, and one social platform for the buyer type you want. A thin presence everywhere serves nobody.
How do we know digital marketing is working?
By the orders in the log that trace back to an online source, against the record kept before anything changed. Clicks and followers alone say little. The question is whether more BOMs were quoted and more buyers returned.
What does stock mean for digital work?
Stock sets the limit. A page or advertisement for a part you do not hold brings clicks you cannot satisfy and a buyer who goes elsewhere. Promote the lines you hold, and give sourced parts their own page that says plainly they are supplied on order.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
