Home decor businesses · Influencer marketing

Let a real home show the piece before a customer buys it.

Influencer marketing for a home decor business uses a home creator styling a piece in their own space, answering how it will look in a room like theirs. GullySales finds creators who already style homes in your look and briefs them on the room, not just the product.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What influencer marketing means

Influencer marketing means paying or partnering with local personalities and creators to talk about your business to their own audience. It works well where trust is built by a familiar face rather than an advert. GullySales finds creators whose audience matches your buyers and manages the brief and payment terms.

For home decor businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Home creators outperform bigger lifestyle accounts”

A smaller creator known for home styling brings a more relevant, decor-ready audience.

  • “The brief asks for the room, not the product”

A clip showing the piece placed and styled convinces more than one showing it unboxed on a table.

  • “Local creators help with gifting content”

A creator in the same city can film a housewarming gift being opened for their local followers.

What we do

What we deliver for home decor businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A shortlist of home-styling creators

Creators already known for styling homes in your look identified and shortlisted, rather than picked on follower count alone.

Result: The piece is put in front of followers who already save room photos for their own flats.

  2. A room-focused creator brief

A written brief asking each creator to style and place the piece in a real room, rather than an unboxing on a bare table.

Result: The content shows exactly how a piece looks lived with, not just unwrapped.

  3. A local creator plan for gifting occasions

A shortlist of local creators used to film housewarming or gifting content for followers in the same city.

Result: The gifting story reaches an audience likely to buy for the same occasions.

  4. Written terms for every collaboration

Payment or product terms agreed and put in writing with each creator before any piece ships.

Result: Both sides know what was agreed before the content goes live.

How the result is measured

  • Reach per creator
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries traced to a creator

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who to work with

Choose creators who style a corner, a shelf or a festival table the way your buyers do.

Home styling creators
Pick creators who style small spaces, shelves and balconies, not only full houses. Your wall art and lamps need a creator whose followers buy one piece at a time.
Gifting and festival creators
For Diwali, griha pravesh and wedding gifts, ask creators who post gift ideas. Brief them early enough that their followers can order and receive before the occasion.
Handmade and regional makers
If your work is handmade or from a particular craft region, a creator who covers craft can tell that story. Give them true details of the maker and the process, nothing more.
The brief for one corner
Name the three pieces, the colours that go together and the size of the wall or shelf. Ask the creator to show where each piece went and what they paired it with.
Stock and breakage check
Before a post, count the stock of each piece shown and check packing for glass and ceramics. A sold-out piece wastes the post, and a broken delivery undoes it.
Who not to use
Skip creators who only show luxury interiors if your pieces are priced for a flat. Their followers will admire the picture and never open your shop.

Who it is for

This is written for these home decor businesses.

  • Home decor and furnishing boutiques
  • Online-only decor and lifestyle stores
  • Wall art and photo frame sellers
  • Lighting and lamp specialists
  • Curtain and soft furnishing stores
  • Festive and seasonal decor sellers
  • Gifting and home accessory stores
  • Home styling and consultation studios

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The piece cannot be sent safely to a creator, since packing for breakage is not yet worked out
  • You would not agree written terms for a collaboration, and an unwritten arrangement leaves the claims in the post uncontrolled

How it works

How the influencer marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Define who needs to see it

We settle the buyer, the city and the language first. That decides which creators are worth approaching at all.

  2. 2

    Audit the creators

We ask for audience screenshots from the creator's own account, read the comments, and look at earlier sponsored posts to see how the audience reacted.

  3. 3

    Agree terms and brief

Fee, instalments, dates, exclusivity and paid-media rights go into one written agreement before any filming. The brief carries facts and limits, not a script.

  4. 4

    Review the draft

We check prices, claims and disclosure on the draft. Edits are about accuracy, not about changing the creator's style.

  5. 5

    Publish and trace

Posts go live on the agreed dates. Enquiries are matched to each creator's code or link and reported against the fee paid, in the format agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we pick the right creator?
We check whether their content already features home styling, not just follower count.
Do we pay in product or cash?
Either works; we agree terms upfront and put them in writing before anything ships.
Is a big creator worth more than several small ones for decor?
Usually a few small creators in different styles do more than one large one, because buyers follow someone whose room looks like theirs. A large account suits a launch or a festival range, but check that its followers can order from you.
What if a creator describes my product as handmade or from a place it is not?
Ask for a correction at once. Origin and material claims can mislead buyers and break consumer rules. Put the true description in the brief, such as the material, the maker and the place of making, and ask to read the post before it goes up.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
