Inverter, UPS and generator dealers · Digital marketing

Advertise before the outages and sell to your own customers after.

Digital marketing for a power backup dealer is the plan that decides what runs before the summer peak and what keeps the business going in quiet months. GullySales sets the calendar, splits the work between search, Maps, directories and your installed base, and reports what each returned.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For inverter, UPS and generator dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Two seasons and ten quiet months”

The trade lives on summer and the monsoon, so the plan has to say what the business does in September when nobody is searching.

  • “Three buyers who never meet”

A homeowner, a clinic administrator and a factory maintenance head find you through different channels and need different proof before buying.

  • “The quiet months are for the installed base”

Battery replacements, AMC renewals and solar upgrades can be sold in any month, and they come from your records rather than from advertising.

What we do

What we deliver for inverter, UPS and generator dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A calendar built on the outage seasons

The year mapped against your region's summer peak and monsoon weeks, with the pre-season push and the quiet-month work fixed in advance.

Result: The team knows what it is doing in September.

  2. A channel plan by buyer

Maps and search for homes, directories and outreach for industry, LinkedIn and a direct approach for clinics and offices.

Result: Each buyer is reached where they look.

  3. Installed-base campaigns for quiet months

Battery due calls, AMC renewals and hybrid upgrade offers scheduled through the months advertising does not pay.

Result: Revenue keeps coming when the phone is quiet.

  4. Installation photographs used across channels

One set of proper photographs of real home, office and industrial installations, used on the site, Maps, directories and quotations.

Result: Every channel shows the same evidence.

  5. An outreach list for factories and associations

Nearby factories, warehouses, apartment associations and clinics listed with the person who decides on backup.

Result: Someone is being approached even out of season.

  6. A report across the channels

Enquiries, quotes and installations by source and product, set beside the baseline taken at the start.

Result: You can drop a channel that never turns into an installation.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for a dealer

Start with what a household does the hour the power goes out.

Business Profile and phone hours
Put your shop address, brands, service area and honest opening hours on the profile. Keep a call log by day so you can see the spikes when cuts happen in your area.
Invoice list with battery dates
Build a list from old invoices: name, number, inverter rating, battery Ah and date sold. This is your own customer base and the cheapest place to sell a replacement battery.
A page for each rating you stock
Write a short page for each inverter, UPS or generator size you sell, with who it suits and what it can run. Record which sizes customers ask for by name.
Search ads for outage weeks
Switch on a small ad for near-me searches only when cuts are in the news, limited to your delivery area. Log every call as ad, profile or word of mouth.
Offices, clinics and factories
List the offices and small units within your service radius and visit with a one-page sheet on UPS and generator sizing. Record who you met and when they said to return.
What to leave until later
Skip a social media calendar, brand films and a bid for national keywords against online sellers. A household in the dark searches locally and rings the first shop that answers.

Who it is for

This is written for these inverter, UPS and generator dealers.

  • Home inverter and battery dealers
  • Online UPS dealers for offices, clinics and IT setups
  • Diesel and gas generator dealers
  • Solar hybrid inverter and battery dealers
  • Battery replacement and service centres
  • Generator rental and AMC providers
  • Industrial power backup and stabiliser suppliers
  • Multi-brand power backup stores

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your old invoices are not in any list, so after-sale campaigns would have no one to send to.
  • You have no one to take calls when an outage lifts enquiries, so adding channels would only add missed calls.
  • You carry one brand and sell only across the counter, and a multi-channel plan would cost more than your walk-in trade.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Where should a dealer start if the budget is small?
With the Maps profile and the installed-base record. Both cost attention rather than media money, and both produce enquiries within weeks. Advertising is worth adding once a quote goes out the same day.
Do we need a website when we sell known brands?
Yes, because the brand's site sends a buyer to a dealer locator, not to you. Your pages are where a local buyer finds your sizing, your service and your number. Without them you rely on whoever ranks above you.
Can I run the ads myself, or is an agency worth it for a shop like mine?
A single local ad is simple enough to run yourself if someone checks it daily during outage weeks. An agency earns its place when you add generators or factory buyers, where the search terms and the buyers differ. Decide it by who will watch the calls.
How do I tell whether the ads or the Maps listing brought the call?
Ask every caller and write it down, and use a separate number for the ad if you can. Compare the two lists at the end of the outage season. Do not judge from the ad dashboard alone, since many callers see the ad and still ring the number on your profile.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
