Jewellery retailers · WhatsApp marketing
They send a screenshot and ask the price, and your answer decides the visit.
WhatsApp is where a jewellery buyer sends a saved design and asks what it would cost, and where families abroad see a set on video before it is booked. Handled badly it becomes a daily rate blast nobody reads. GullySales sets up the business catalogue, the reply routine and the consent behind every number.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means
WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For jewellery retailers
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“A screenshot with a price question is a hot enquiry”
They have already chosen the design and are checking whether your store is in their range. An answer that gives an approximate weight and price band brings them in. Asking them to visit to find out sends them to the next store.
“A video call sells to the family who cannot walk in”
An uncle in the Gulf or a daughter in another city is part of the decision. A live video showing the set under the counter light, with the hallmark visible, does what photographs cannot.
“The gold rate message is the one broadcast people welcome”
Customers who have told you they are waiting for a rate movement genuinely want it. The same list does not want a festive poster every morning, and will block the number.
What we do
What we deliver for jewellery retailers.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A WhatsApp Business account with a catalogue by collection
Bridal, diamond, daily wear and coins loaded as catalogue items with weight bands, so a design can be sent as a product rather than a photo.
Result: A price question gets a complete answer in one reply.
A reply standard for design and price enquiries
An agreed owner on the store number, with the information every reply must carry: approximate weight, price band and the making basis.
Result: Nobody is told to come to the showroom to find out.
Consent recorded for every number on a list
A note of how each number was collected and what the customer agreed to receive, with a simple way to stop.
Result: You are not broadcasting to numbers copied off bills.
Separate lists for rate watchers and collection news
Customers who asked to hear about the gold rate kept apart from those who wanted new collection updates or scheme reminders.
Result: Each message goes to people who asked for that message.
Video call appointments offered on the chat
A booked video viewing for family members away from the city, with the pieces kept ready and the hallmark shown on camera.
Result: A distant decision-maker sees the set before the family commits.
Chat enquiries logged to the customer record
Each WhatsApp enquiry entered against a customer with the occasion and the designs sent, rather than left in the phone.
Result: A message today is a follow-up call next week.
How the result is measured
- Messages delivered
- Reply rate
- Enquiries from WhatsApp
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What must be in place first
What a jeweller needs in place before the first rate message goes out.
A rate list, a design photograph and a bridal enquiry are three different conversations. Set each up before you press send.
- Opt-in for the rate list
- Add a line to the billing counter slip and the visiting card asking whether the customer wants the gold rate on WhatsApp. Save the number with the date and the word 'rate'. Do not copy numbers from old order books.
- A shop number, not the owner's phone
- Register WhatsApp Business on a number the showroom owns, with the shop name, address, hours and the hallmarking line on the profile. If the family phone is the shop number, move it before the list grows.
- Catalogue by collection
- Build the catalogue as bridal sets, daily-wear chains, solitaires and silver, with weight band and making basis on each item. Do not publish a fixed price for gold pieces; say the price follows the day's rate.
- Templates for the day's rate message
- A message sent to a customer outside the open chat window needs an approved template. Write the rate template once, with the date in it, and check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before you plan volumes.
- Who pays and who answers
- Business messages are billed by WhatsApp separately from our fee, and the rules change. Decide which counter staff answer design enquiries and who steps in when a family asks for a video call.
- An opt-out that works
- End every list message with a reply word to stop. Remove that number as soon as the word arrives, and keep a record, because a blocked number counts against the shop's standing on the platform.
Who it is for
This is written for these jewellery retailers.
- Bridal and wedding jewellery showrooms
- Gold and diamond jewellery retail chains
- Silver and artificial jewellery stores
- Certified diamond and solitaire retailers
- Traditional and antique jewellery stores
- Single-showroom family jewellers
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- The showroom has not decided who answers the business number, so messages would sit with a staff member's own phone.
- You hold no record of which customers agreed to be messaged, and a festival broadcast would reach people who did not ask.
How it works
How the whatsapp marketing work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Read the chats you already have
We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.
- 2
Sort the list and the permission
Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.
- 3
Choose the app or the API
One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.
- 4
Write the replies and the plan
The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.
- 5
Connect the record and test
Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.
- 6
Read the unanswered questions
A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
