Jewellery retailers · Cinema advertising
A bridal set fills a cinema screen the way no phone ever will.
Cinema advertising for a jewellery showroom buys the reel before the film, screen by screen and week by week, as a still slide or a short film. It suits the wedding and festival weeks, when families are already shopping. GullySales picks the screens around your counter and puts a scannable code on the artwork.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What cinema advertising means
Cinema advertising is a slide or a film before the show at screens near your business, plus the lobby around them. GullySales chooses the screens by catchment rather than by chain, and puts a QR code on the slide so the spend can be judged.

Sales and marketing for jewellery retailers, the overview.

For jewellery retailers
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The format flatters the product”
A temple necklace four storeys high shows the weight and the work that a phone photograph flattens. This is the rare medium where the jewellery is larger than the buyer looking at it.
“Buy the weeks, not the year”
Wedding dates, Akshaya Tritiya and Dhanteras squeeze the buying into a few weeks. A family watching a Friday release inside those weeks has the purchase already being discussed at home.
“No rate goes on a slide”
Gold moves every day and the artwork was made three weeks before the reel ran. The collection, the store and a code survive that delay; a printed figure does not.
“The counter is where this campaign reports”
The property sells a screen for a week and tells you nothing about the people in the seats. A salesperson asking every walk-in where they saw the collection, and writing it down, is the entire measurement.
What we do
What we deliver for jewellery retailers.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Screen list around the showroom
The properties families in your catchment go to, including the regional-language screens the elders in the family choose, instead of a city-wide package.
Result: The hall holds people who can reach your counter.
Release weeks read before the order
What is scheduled on those screens in the weeks you want, checked before booking, because the price of a screen does not drop when the hall is half empty.
Result: You buy weeks with something worth watching in them.
A film or a slide built for the screen
Either a short cut of the bridal collection or one still carrying the store name, the collection and a large code. No paragraph, no figures.
Result: The work on the jewellery is what people actually see.
An appointment route that can be counted
A QR code opening a page for that collection with a designer appointment form on it, plus a code the counter asks for by name.
Result: An enquiry can be put down to the screen it came from.
Hallmark and exchange wording checked
The BIS hallmark and HUID lines and the exchange terms read by whoever signs them off in your business before the artwork is locked.
Result: Nothing on screen contradicts what the counter tells a buyer.
Reporting by screen, week and walk-in
Scans, coded calls and appointments set against the weeks bought and against the baseline recorded before the campaign.
Result: The next festival buys only the screens that produced buyers.
How the result is measured
- Screens and weeks run
- Scans by screen
- Enquiries traced to the cinema route
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Counter checklist for reel weeks
In the weeks the reel runs, the counter has to do six things that the cinema cannot do for you.
- Ask every walk-in the same question
- Train staff to ask where the customer first saw the collection, and to write the answer in a register at the counter, not on a loose slip.
- Show the collection on the slide
- Keep the pieces from the slide on display at the counter. A customer who walked in for the necklace on the screen should not be shown a different set first.
- Say if a piece is made to order
- If the design takes time to make, say so at the counter, along with the usual wait. A bride with a date in the calendar needs to know before choosing.
- One answer on rate and making charges
- The slide carries no rate, so the counter must. Agree one explanation of how the making charge is worked out and make sure every salesperson gives it.
- Hold designer appointment slots
- Keep slots free on the days families come after a film, so a customer who scanned the code is not told the next appointment is far away.
- Old-gold exchange terms
- Keep the exchange explanation ready on a sheet: how the old piece is assessed and how the value is adjusted on the new one, as your showroom does it.
Who it is for
This is written for these jewellery retailers.
- Bridal and wedding jewellery showrooms
- Gold and diamond jewellery retail chains
- Silver and artificial jewellery stores
- Certified diamond and solitaire retailers
- Traditional and antique jewellery stores
- Single-showroom family jewellers
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- Your showroom draws buyers only from a few streets, and a screen in a distant multiplex would show your slide to people who will never visit.
- You have no festival or wedding offer to show, so the slide would repeat a logo that the audience forgets before the film begins.
How it works
How the cinema advertising work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Fix the catchment
We start from how far your customer travels to reach you, which for a clinic or a restaurant is short and decides the screen list on its own.
- 2
Read the release weeks
We check what is scheduled in the campaign window and time the buy to the weeks with something worth watching in the hall.
- 3
Build the creative
The slide or the film is made for a screen four storeys high and cut to the duration being bought.
- 4
Coordinate the booking
We place the buy with the cinema or its appointed agency and confirm the screens, the position and the delivery date in writing.
- 5
Count what came back
Scans, code use and calls are read against the weeks and the screens, and the next round drops the screens that gave nothing.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
