Salons and beauty studios · Branding

Make the salon the name people remember, not the stylist who left.

Branding for a salon is what a customer says when a friend asks where she got her hair done. GullySales settles what the salon is known for, puts the name on the bookings, the reminders and the packaging, and keeps stylists visible without the salon disappearing behind them.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For salons and beauty studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your best stylist is also your biggest risk

Customers who only have her number follow her down the road, and there is nothing left holding them to you.

  • A skin care line cannot say what it fixes

Under the Cosmetics Rules the label and the page describe ingredients and use, which leaves honest writing as the only option.

  • Everything she takes home is branded or blank

The bill, the product bag, the appointment card. Most salons let all three go out with nothing on them.

What we do

What we deliver for salons and beauty studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A decision on what the salon is for

Whether you are the colour place, the bridal studio or the neighbourhood salon that runs on time, agreed with the owner and the senior team.

Result: Customers name you rather than a street.

  2. The salon's name on everything she takes home

Bookings, reminder messages, the bill, the product bag and the appointment card all carrying the salon's name and number, never a stylist's personal one.

Result: The relationship belongs to the salon.

  3. Stylists introduced under the salon's name

Each stylist given a profile and a specialism on your pages and posts, credited by name inside the salon's own identity.

Result: Customers follow the work without following a phone number.

  4. One look across the board, the menu and the station

Signage, the price list, the Instagram grid and the printed menu brought to one set of colours and one version of the name.

Result: The salon stops looking like three different places.

  5. Product page wording inside the Cosmetics Rules

For a salon with its own skin care or cosmetics line, ingredient-led descriptions with usage and patch test advice, written without treatment claims.

Result: The product can be sold honestly and reordered.

  6. A short note for the team on what to say

One page on how to describe the salon, what to recommend after a service, and how to answer the price question without apologising for it.

Result: Everybody at the desk says the same thing.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for salons and beauty studios

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at weekday and weekend occupancy, how many first-time customers returned, how bridal enquiries are answered, and what your Instagram and Maps profile actually show.

  2. 2

    Make booking easy

A clear price list, online booking through Google or WhatsApp, and a reply routine for DMs so no enquiry waits overnight.

  3. 3

    Show the real work

A portfolio of unfiltered, consented photographs and short videos by service and stylist, and a bridal portfolio sorted by look.

  4. 4

    Fill the quiet hours

Weekday offers for regulars, rebooking reminders timed to each service, and bridal and festival campaigns opened months ahead.

  5. 5

Keep the customer with the salon

A customer record owned by the salon, memberships, a product recommendation routine and a review ask after each good visit.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should our stylists be named on Instagram?
Yes, with the salon's name on the post and the salon's number in the profile. Hiding the stylist makes the work look anonymous. What matters is that the booking goes through the salon.
Do we need a rebrand?
Rarely. Getting the name onto the bill, the bag and the reminder message is cheaper and does more than a new logo will.
Can we say our facial or product clears acne or removes pigmentation?
Not as a promise. Under the Cosmetics Rules, a cosmetic cannot claim to treat a condition, which makes it a drug, and advertising guidelines treat such claims as misleading. We describe what the service involves and how it feels, and leave medical concerns to a dermatologist.
How do we win more bridal bookings?
Reply the same day and offer a paid trial. Brides want to see your real work on skin tones like theirs, not one filtered look. We set up a bridal enquiry flow on WhatsApp and Instagram with package details, availability on the main muhurta dates and a trial booking link.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
