Salons and beauty studios · Social media

Post the work you did, unfiltered, on the skin you actually see.

Social media for a salon is the portfolio a customer scrolls before she books, and for bridal work it is the shortlist itself. GullySales sets what gets photographed after each service, plans the posts around the wedding and festival months, and treats the messages as bookings.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For salons and beauty studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Filters cost you the walk-in

She books from an edited photograph, gets a good natural result and leaves unhappy. The filter caused that.

  • Brides shortlist months ahead

A bride saves artists in July for a January wedding, so the grid has to show her skin tone and her kind of function.

  • Before and after needs permission and honesty

The customer has to agree, and the after cannot be a different light, a different angle and a different face.

What we do

What we deliver for salons and beauty studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A shot routine after each service

What to photograph, in which light and from which angle after a colour, a bridal trial or a nail set, done in two minutes at the station.

Result: The portfolio fills without a separate photoshoot.

  2. Consent taken at the chair and written down

A simple ask at billing for permission to share photographs, with a note of who agreed and to what.

Result: A customer is never surprised to find herself on the grid.

  3. The grid sorted by service and by stylist

Highlights and collections for colour, bridal, nails and men's grooming, so somebody can find the work she came looking for.

Result: A bride sees bridal, not last week's nail art.

  4. Posts planned to the wedding and festival months

Bridal work pushed three to four months before the main muhurta dates, festival looks before Diwali, Karva Chauth or Onam, and the weekday offer in the flat weeks.

Result: You are visible while people are deciding.

  5. The Instagram inbox worked like an appointment book

Messages checked twice a day by a named person and written into the same list as the phone and walk-in enquiries, since bridal arrives there first.

Result: A midnight bridal message has an answer by morning.

  6. Captions that name the service, the time and the price band

Each post saying what was done, how long it took and roughly what it costs, with the booking link kept in the profile.

Result: A post saved in July still becomes an appointment.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for salons and beauty studios

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at weekday and weekend occupancy, how many first-time customers returned, how bridal enquiries are answered, and what your Instagram and Maps profile actually show.

  2. 2

    Make booking easy

A clear price list, online booking through Google or WhatsApp, and a reply routine for DMs so no enquiry waits overnight.

  3. 3

    Show the real work

A portfolio of unfiltered, consented photographs and short videos by service and stylist, and a bridal portfolio sorted by look.

  4. 4

    Fill the quiet hours

Weekday offers for regulars, rebooking reminders timed to each service, and bridal and festival campaigns opened months ahead.

  5. 5

Keep the customer with the salon

A customer record owned by the salon, memberships, a product recommendation routine and a review ask after each good visit.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we post before and after photographs?
Yes, with permission and in the same light. An after shot taken in different lighting is the reason a customer arrives expecting something you cannot do.
How often should we post?
Three or four times a week in the bridal season and less in the flat months. Shooting during service means there is always material without a separate shoot.
Can we say our facial or product clears acne or removes pigmentation?
Not as a promise. Under the Cosmetics Rules, a cosmetic cannot claim to treat a condition, which makes it a drug, and advertising guidelines treat such claims as misleading. We describe what the service involves and how it feels, and leave medical concerns to a dermatologist.
How do we win more bridal bookings?
Reply the same day and offer a paid trial. Brides want to see your real work on skin tones like theirs, not one filtered look. We set up a bridal enquiry flow on WhatsApp and Instagram with package details, availability on the main muhurta dates and a trial booking link.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
