Mobile app development companies · Local SEO

Be the app studio an owner finds when they search near them.

Local SEO for an app studio decides whether a business owner in your city sees you when they search for a developer nearby, and whether your Google Business Profile looks like a real office. GullySales works on the profile, city pages and review requests to match.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For mobile app development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Owners prefer a studio they can visit”

A restaurant chain or a clinic group wants to meet the team before paying for an app. A profile with an address, photos of the office and a named lead developer tells the owner there are people behind the quote.

  • “The profile shows a studio that looks like every other”

Opening hours, a business type and a logo are all that some app studios fill in. Photos of a workshop, the team and a client handover separate you from a name on a map with nothing behind it.

  • “City pages written for search engines read like spam”

A page repeated with a different city name in every line earns no trust from a reader. A page that names real local clients, local business types and your office location gives a founder reason to call.

  • “Reviews from app clients are hard to collect”

A client who got the app live moves on to running the business. Without a request made at handover, with a direct link, the reviews that influence the next local buyer never get written.

What we do

What we deliver for mobile app development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A complete Google Business Profile

Services listed by app type, photos of the team and workspace, a description in plain words and a booking link for a scoping call.

Result: The profile shows what you build, where you sit and how to book a conversation.

  2. City and area pages with real substance

Pages for the cities you serve, naming the local trades you have built for and linking to live store listings.

Result: Each city page has local proof a visitor can check.

  3. A review request at handover

A message sent when the app is live, with a direct link to your profile and a note on what to mention.

Result: Your review request is part of the handover checklist, not an afterthought.

  4. Consistent listings across directories

Name, address and phone written the same way on your website, profile and the directories buyers check.

Result: One written format for your studio details, matched everywhere it appears.

  5. Replies to every review

Short, specific replies to praise and to complaints, written in the studio's voice.

Result: No review on your profile is left unanswered.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these mobile app development companies.

  • First-time founders building a consumer app with a small seed budget
  • Restaurants, salons and retail chains wanting their own ordering or loyalty app
  • Clinics and diagnostic chains wanting a booking and report-delivery app
  • Schools and coaching institutes wanting a parent and student app
  • Logistics and field-service companies needing an app for drivers and technicians
  • Startups needing an MVP before a funding conversation
  • Companies replacing an app a previous vendor abandoned
  • Overseas clients outsourcing app builds to an Indian studio

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need an office to do local SEO?
A profile for a service-area business can be set up without a public address, but a visible office helps owners who want to meet. Follow the platform's current rules for how an address and a service area are shown.
Should we collect reviews from overseas clients on Google?
They help your profile less than local ones do. Put overseas reviews on Clutch or GoodFirms, where those buyers look, and use Google reviews from clients in your own region.
What if a client refuses a review because of an NDA?
Respect the refusal. Ask whether they will write a general comment without naming the product, or a short note about working with the team. If they decline, a call with a prospect is a better use of the reference.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
