AR, VR and XR development studios · WhatsApp marketing

Send the filter link on WhatsApp so the buyer opens it on the phone in hand.

WhatsApp marketing for an immersive studio is using the chat that buyers already use to share demos, answer device questions and keep a pilot moving. GullySales sets up the business profile, message templates and consent so conversations are tidy and permitted.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For AR, VR and XR development studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A filter link is made for a chat”

A buyer on a call can open a phone-based filter in seconds from a WhatsApp link. A message that says which phone it supports and what to point at gets used. A long email gets forwarded and forgotten.

  • “Groups blur privacy”

Agency and client teams form a WhatsApp group around a launch. Files, builds and approvals pass through it. A studio should agree who is in the group and keep final approvals in writing elsewhere.

  • “Large builds do not travel by chat”

A headset build is heavy and installs through a store or a file transfer. The chat should hold instructions and the link, not the file, and say plainly which device the build is for.

  • “Consent is needed for broadcast”

Messaging a list of past visitors without permission damages trust. Collect consent at the demo, state what will be sent and honour requests to stop.

What we do

What we deliver for AR, VR and XR development studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business profile set-up

A WhatsApp Business profile with the studio's description, hours, catalogue of demos and contact details.

Result: A buyer sees what the studio does on opening the chat.

  2. Demo link templates

Approved short messages sharing a filter or a video with the device list and a question.

Result: The team sends the same clear message every time.

  3. Quick replies for common questions

Saved answers on devices, venue needs, pilot scope and ownership.

Result: Frequent questions get consistent answers.

  4. Consent capture at demos

A line on the expo form and a QR that records permission to message.

Result: Every broadcast contact has given permission.

  5. Launch group etiquette note

A short note on who joins a launch group, what is shared and where approvals are written.

    Result: Launch groups stay orderly.

  6. Chat-to-CRM routine

A rule that each business chat is logged on the lead with the date and the next step.

Result: Chats leave a record outside someone's phone.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send the demo link at the moment the buyer is holding a phone.

Consent at the end of a demo
Record that the visitor agreed to receive the link and updates, with the date. Without it a broadcast to demo contacts is not welcome.
The filter or viewer link
A single link with one line of instruction, sent to a buyer who wants to show it to a colleague, so it opens in a tap.
A build too large for a chat
A message that sends a short clip and a note on how the full build will be shared, since large files do not travel well on chat.
Device question in the first reply
A quick reply asking which phone or headset the buyer has, so the right link or build goes out the first time.
A launch group's ground rules
A first message in an agency group stating who may share files and that client work stays inside it, set before the first upload.

Who it is for

This is written for these AR, VR and XR development studios.

  • Property developers and real estate marketing teams
  • Brand and advertising agencies running launches
  • Schools, colleges and ed-tech companies
  • Corporate training and skilling teams
  • Museums, tourism boards and heritage bodies
  • Retail and showroom brands with a product to place at home
  • Industrial and manufacturing firms needing equipment walkthroughs
  • Event and exhibition organisers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have not collected permission to message demo contacts, and sending links to a list of business cards would count against you
  • Your demos need a headset and no phone link exists, so a chat link would show the buyer nothing
  • You share client builds in a group before the client has agreed, which would breach the confidence the work depends on

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we send demo links to a list?
Only to people who agreed to receive messages from the studio. Check the platform's current rules, and keep a log of consent. GullySales sets up the capture so the list is clean from the start.
Should we use the WhatsApp Business API?
The app suits a small studio. The API suits a larger volume and needs a provider. GullySales looks at how many chats you handle before suggesting it.
Is it fine to share a client's build on WhatsApp?
Not without the client's permission. Share samples built from your own models. Where a client allows a clip, record the approval in the CRM.
Is it fine to share a client's build on WhatsApp?
Only with the client's written agreement, and never in a group that includes outsiders. Client work sits under confidentiality terms, and a build forwarded once cannot be recalled, so share a short clip unless the contract allows more.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
