Domain service providers · Digital marketing

Plan search, partners and renewals as one programme, not four separate efforts.

Digital marketing for a domain provider joins the search pages, the adviser and agency routes, the paid campaigns and the renewal messages into one plan. GullySales decides the order of work with you and records the source of each registration.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For domain service providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Four routes feed the same account”

Search brings a first-time owner, an adviser sends a new business, an agency brings a client and a renewal message keeps the name. Treated apart, each is judged on a different number.

  • “Paid search suits narrow words”

A broad word such as buy domain attracts price comparison. A narrow one such as transfer, .in for a clinic or brand protection reaches a buyer with a clear need.

  • “Lifetime value lives in renewals”

A registration is a first purchase. The provider earns again each time the name renews and each time the owner adds email or SSL, so the plan must include the months after the sale.

  • “Reviews follow price surprises”

An owner who finds a higher renewal posts about it. A plain price page and a reminder with the price protect the review score more than a reply to a complaint.

What we do

What we deliver for domain service providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One-page programme plan

A plan listing the buyer groups, the route to each and the order in which routes start.

Result: Your team knows what begins first and why.

  2. Source tracking

Tags on pages, forms and ads so every registration can be traced to search, an adviser, an agency or an existing customer.

Result: A registration report shows source, not only count.

  3. Narrow paid campaigns

Small campaigns on transfer, a single extension or a profession, with a cap you set.

Result: Each campaign has a stated cost limit and a registration count beside it.

  4. Partner outreach list

A list of advisers and agencies to approach, with a note on who replied.

Result: You can see who was contacted and what happened.

  5. Review and reputation routine

A simple routine for asking recent customers for a review and replying to complaints about price or support.

Result: A complaint receives a reply from a named person.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Each search points to one page, one account type and one follow-up.

cheap domain registration in India
A narrow paid search to the price and renewal page, written so the second-year price is visible before the search box.
domain reseller programme
A page and partner outreach list for agencies and resellers, with the terms you are willing to publish.
buy .in domain for business
The extension page, a short guide to eligibility and the sign-up flow, tied to a source tag in the account.
domain name for startup
A page for the founder and the adviser, with naming advice and a pointer to checking trademarks with a professional.
domain with business email
A bundle page for domain plus email, aimed at owners still using a free mail account for customers.

Who it is for

This is written for these domain service providers.

  • First-time business owners buying a website address
  • Startups choosing names and checking trademarks with their adviser
  • Web designers and agencies registering for clients
  • Companies protecting brand variants and regional spellings
  • Domain investors and resellers
  • Schools, trusts and associations moving to .in and .org addresses
  • Professionals such as doctors and chartered accountants starting a practice site
  • Businesses moving from a free or old address to their own domain

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your renewals are poorly handled today, and new campaigns would bring in names you lose a year later.
  • You cannot yet tell which registrations came from search and which from partners, so spend on several routes would be unmeasured.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small provider begin?
With the pages and records you control: the price page, the transfer guide and the expiry list. Then search for narrow words and outreach to advisers. Paid campaigns come once you know what a registration is worth.
How is success judged?
By registrations, renewals and agency accounts against a baseline recorded at the start. No result is promised, and the figures come from your own panel and records.
Do paid ads work for domain registration?
They work on narrow words such as an extension plus India, and poorly on the word domain alone. Broad terms bring price comparison against much larger registrars. Send each ad to a page for that extension, and judge it by registrations and renewals.
How do reviews affect a registrar?
Buyers read them for support and renewal complaints. A price surprise at renewal produces the worst reviews, so state renewal pricing on the order page. Reply to each one with the facts of the account, without sharing private details.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
