ERP software providers · Search engine optimisation

Be found by the manufacturer searching for ERP for their own trade.

SEO for an ERP provider decides whether a factory owner worried about stock and GST returns finds your page or a national vendor's. GullySales writes a page for each trade you implement for, answers the Tally comparison instead of leaving it to a competitor, and fixes what is holding the site back.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For ERP software providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Nobody searches for ERP on its own”

The search is ERP for garment manufacturers, or software for a pharma distributor. A page that lists eleven industries in one paragraph answers none of them.

  • “The Tally comparison is a search before it is an objection”

Owners type moving from Tally to ERP and read whoever wrote that page. Right now it is not you.

  • “Your principal's name carries traffic you can catch”

Buyers search for an implementation partner by product name and city, and that page has to say which trades you have taken live.

What we do

What we deliver for ERP software providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each trade you have references in

Two or three pages describing that trade's actual process, batch numbers in pharma or job work in an engineering unit, and where the system sits in it.

Result: A buyer searching for ERP for their trade reads their own process back.

  2. The Tally migration page, written by you

One page on what moving from Tally to a full ERP involves: which ledgers and stock history come across, what the accounts team relearns, and how long the parallel run takes.

Result: The comparison search ends on your page instead of a competitor's.

  3. Module pages for the problems people type

Separate pages for e-invoicing, stock and warehouse, job work and dealer management, each written for the person who has that one problem this month.

Result: A narrow search finds a page about exactly that.

  4. Partner pages that name the districts you cover

A page for each product you implement, naming the city and the industrial areas you travel to, so a partner locator search finds a local team.

Result: The buyer sees an implementation team within driving distance.

  5. Technical clean-up on a site nobody has opened in years

Slow pages, broken links, missing headings and demo forms that fail on a phone, all fixed before new pages are added.

Result: Pages you already paid for start being found.

  6. A report by trade page

Search position, visits and demo requests for each trade page, set against the baseline recorded before the work started.

Result: You can see which trade has earned a second page.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a business owner types when stock and accounts outgrow Tally, and the page that answers it.

ERP for a steel trading company
A trade page. Describe how the software tracks heat numbers, weighbridge entries and stock by grade, and name only references you are allowed to name.
Tally to ERP migration
A migration page. Say what moves across, such as masters, opening balances and open invoices, what is checked afterwards and what the accountant will still see.
ERP with GST e-invoice and e-way bill
A compliance page. Show where e-invoice and e-way bill generation sits in the flow, and tell readers to check the portal's current rules.
Odoo or SAP Business One for a small manufacturer
A comparison page. Be fair about which size and process suits each product you sell, since a buyer will check, and say which you do not implement.
ERP implementation cost for a small factory
A cost page. Explain what the figure depends on: users, modules, data migration, training and yearly support. Show how a quote is built rather than a price.
ERP implementation failed what next
A recovery page. Say what you check first in a stalled project, such as data, customisation and training, and what you ask the owner to bring to the first call.

Who it is for

This is written for these ERP software providers.

  • ERP implementation partners for SAP Business One, Odoo or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Tally partners selling add-ons and customisation
  • Zoho partners and implementation consultants
  • Industry-specific ERP product companies
  • ERP providers for pharma and retail distribution
  • Manufacturing ERP and MRP software vendors
  • Construction and project ERP providers
  • Cloud ERP and SaaS accounting providers for small businesses

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no customer in a trade who would take a reference call, so a trade page would claim experience you cannot show
  • Your partner agreement with the principal has not been checked for how the product name may be used online

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We implement for eleven industries. Which pages do we write?
The two or three where you have customers who will take a reference call. A thin page for a trade you touched once will not rank and will not convince anyone.
Can we outrank the software company itself?
Not for the product name, and you do not need to. The principal never writes about job work in Peenya, and that is the search a local buyer makes.
Should case studies name the client company?
Only with the client's written agreement. Otherwise describe the trade, the size, the problem and the modules. A plant manager checking you will ask for a reference call anyway, and an unnamed study can still show how you work.
Do we need a separate site for our add-on products?
Usually not. Keep one site, with a section for each add-on and a page per trade. Several small sites split the pages that earn trust and make it hard for a buyer to see everything you have implemented.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
